I have been a fan of Rogue Trader for years, and after finally getting around to playing Owlcat's CRPG adaptation of this legendary ttrpg, I was inspired to write this song.

My inspiration for this song came from the inner world sequence with Yrliet Lanaevyss, and it is written from the perspective of the Rogue Trader who chooses not to turn away.

I think Warhammer 40k as a setting is at its best when teasing stories of what could have been in a universe where nothing was ever meant to be, so that we can be inspired to never follow in its footsteps.
