We've had our eyes and ears on Cabaret Nocturne for sometime now, with a sound that is deeply influenced by the early 80's Italo Disco and New Beat sound. Across the three original tracks on the EP his music touches on synth pop keys, melancholic Italo waves and dark bass lines.

Two key players in the Join Our Club family round off the EP on remix duties. Justin Robertson in his Deadstock 33’s guise pulls out an absolute blinder with a where the f%^k did that bassline come from. Last but by no means least XY-Me ups the tempo and strips thing back to bare a groove.

After Silenzio and Robotique de l’Amour- in french, Vampiros Discos is Theremynt’s third Ep- an electronic journey in Portuguese-tribute to  Horror Brazilian Filmmaker  Ze do Caixao and all the vampires movies that have accompanied us as teenagers such as Dracula and the Likes. Somewhere between dirty house, krautrock and deviant techno, it is an uplifting track made for the dancefloor . The three remixes are following the track’s original path pushing it to its edges: Andrew Claristidge from Acid Washed has given an interesting version both deviant and cinematographic, the Club Bizarre duet is offering a more techno version  with obsessive bells while legendary techno producer David Carretta is immerging us into a new beat and rather technoish hypnotic tune. The result is a perfect DJ tool -worth trying on the dance floor in the middle of the night.

For their latest and perhaps boldest release, Zone have called up the legend Arnaud Rebotini for a new EP called 'Danger Zone'. Not only has the Black Strobe extraordinaire served up four intricate, heavy-hitting tracks, he's also been involved with the very special artwork for the record.

The label have had a specially commissioned bust of the pioneer made and the statue is a pretty striking way to present the tracks. If anyone in the electro game deserves a piece like that made, it's probably Arnaud.

We've got the premiere of the title track and it goes off like a rocket. It's exactly what you want in an electro ripper, it's got pounding kicks, rugged synth riffs and robotic vocals that ooze dread. It's a mechanical beast that sums up the Rebotini and Zone sound just right.

Autarkic makes-up part of an unspoken alliance from Tel-Aviv, which is currently altering the state of contemporary house and techno music. Heavy Dreamer, the artist’s first, four-track outing on Life and Death, showcases much of what this bold movement is about, all while pushing it forward into progress.  

Ever-present tones of kraut and punk rock flow throughout the EP, beginning with Some Things To Keep, a pumping, warehouse floor-filler. Autarkic steps up to the mic, often re-amping and distorting his vocal delivery, placing it alongside finely-programmed keyboard riffs, tough drums and further psychedelia. Realistic Guru, the trippiest of the lot, is tailor-made for an early-morning DJ Tennis after-party excursion. Slowing down the pace on Powerhouse, Autarkic hints at moments of Bauhaus’ and Tones on Tail’s doom-and-dance pop, while offering-up a digital-only, stripped-down, bonus version. The title track stands as a testament to this new wave of artists, coming from the shores of Israel’s Mediterranean coastline. Bass, drums and guitar are recorded through bespoke boxes and presented through the lens of modernist club-culture.

@DurandBerlanga is an emerging artist from Andalusia and a new addition to the @Esthetique-lab family.

He was attracted very early by Dark Disco, Nu Disco, Synthwave, Techno sounds and found natural home in the SlowMotion scene.

His ‘Hot White Bubbles’ EP features 2 originals and remixes from Balam and @ItaloBrutalo.

The latter known for his love of analog synthesizers takes on the title track and delivers a fantastic 7min mid tempo work out.

Our studio contains about 150 vintage synthesizers, drum machines, vocoders and any kind of other weird sound generating devices. However, NEOPREN Records is not just a record label. We are also a booking agency. This is where Berlin and Paris comes in. Our Staff in Berlin and Paris mainly takes care of bookings but also of our distribution, promotion and artwork as well as web design. They also manage our events in the particular countries.

We are not only focusing on sound. There is also our visual-art division called NEOPREN Edition which combines visual arts and club-culture by organizing events and release DVD's with/about artists with a more visual focus.
