一 A Year End Melody, Part 2: 2022

ANOTHER melody composed of all (if not most) songs that were finished/shown off this year. (some to be released next year so watch for that) nearly 9 minutes long, so you're in for a ride... but what better way to finish off 2022 than with a melody demonstrating how inconsistent i am with music

thanks for keeping up with my music if you've still been listening along for this long; really it's just another past time of mine to finally be able to make the stuff that randomly pops into my head (like this), and i'm glad that there's other people out there that think it's cool. here's to some more... whenever it happens

A Year Long Inconsistency

it bugs me so much dude. i've been searching for an answer for months and no good one has presented itself because it's not 1:1 with what i'm hearing in other songs.

so i made my own preset. out of spite. here's the song.

edit: just realized this is my first real song that's been outside the production window of the Test Series. well, at least one that isn't a remix. maybe that says something...

i had an idea to just make the track have two parts and the second part was gonna be for the second phase but i just. didn't bother. this one didn't click as well as the original, but im uploading it anyway

Confronting Herself [Flow Mix]

yeah. it's 11 minutes. 

this is the final entry of the "Year End" series (i suppose i'm calling it that now). 11 minutes of various references to various of my songs, mainly the ones from this year. yet another game of "see how many references you can catch"... this song literally references stuff i made as far back as 2017

to be honest, these melody songs only really existed because of the Test Series, so I've always considered these songs to be a part of them. I think I can detach this one as being original, since it's only really vaguely connected to the Test Series now that it's been long finished...

don't get me wrong—these were still fun to make. but I do feel like they're kinda falling off. especially if they have a trend of getting longer and longer (and long doesn't exactly mean good). 

it is, however, one hell of a love letter to me and everyone that's been keeping up with my music. thank you all once again.

BROKEN VOID was a song (more of a melody, really) left unfinished for almost more than 7 years! It started off as a simple project in Auxy—really an idea and nothing more. I tried to recreate in Rytmik Studio a year or so later, but didn't like how it sounded, so I dropped the idea. Then, I recreated it again in FL Studio, where it sat as Test No. 11—meaning it was originally meant to be part of the Test Series... but wasn't.

Now it's actually finished. It may still be marked as a test, but to be honest, it's well past that point.

PROJECT 13B01

A sort of water-level-like song that I've wanted to make for a while!
I found this arpeggio in a project from 2023 and decided to turn it into a complete song c:
The TPOT screenshot has nothing to do with the song aside from being underwater I jus like using BFB/TPOT screenshots for my songs hehe

This actually isn't the first time I uploaded this! I hadn't even looked at the timecode by the time I'd uploaded it and didn't realize it was... 7 MINUTES??? I only removed part of a section near the beginning where the drums, bass and chords are introduced to keep your ears from getting too bored, and that somehow shaved an entire minute.
