Sonic CD - Wacky Workbench Good Future [Throwback FM Mix]

Revisiting this concept yet again. Since I'm using so many songs, there's a lot of different combinations to try. V2 was kind of cluttered, and V1 wasn't inclusive enough, so my focus was on having a more even distribution of songs in the first and last halves. Vocally, not much has changed--the general vocal setup used in V1 is still here + the "them loose, oh" echo from V2. V3 adds a front-end echo for "right."

There probably will be a V4 one day.

Believe it or not, this song has been on my back burner for 11 years... better late than never, I suppose.

I should really use the Zxx command more often, it does a great job with kick drums in particular.

A Zone with 3 acts! I tried my best to make this sound a little more majestic, refined but still chaotic, hence the change of pace, and rhythm!

This was originally a track that french composer Dioxaz [http://www.youtube.com/user/Dioxaz] made for use in Project: Sonic Retro, a now-defunct collaborative Sonic the Hedgehog fan game project. This particular track was made for use in Cosmic City Zone, the whole Star Light/city night zone cliché of the game. The original version sounded a lot different; I rearranged it to sound more... housey.

I was originally going to use this track for Dark Fortress Zone in Sonic Megamix, but it didn't really fit the bill. I still like this a lot, though.
