Scatchild is a track close to my heart, where I wanted to blend soulful jazz elements with deep, groovy house beats. The piano riffs and vocal textures come from my love for Afro-jazz, while the rhythm keeps the energy moving on the dancefloor. For me, it’s about creating a vibe that’s both relaxing and uplifting—something that invites you to lose yourself in the music while keeping your feet moving. This track reflects my journey exploring the intersection of organic sounds and electronic beats, and I hope it connects with listeners on that same level

Jacques is a DJ and producer from the Washington, D.C. are​a​ who lives and works in Brooklyn. He runs Let's Play House, a roving house, disco, and techno party as well as a​n imprint​ of the same persuasion, with friend and partner, Nik Mercer. He owns three plants, a rotary mixer, thousands of records, and a similar number of T-shirts. ​ Despite working within the confines of a different genre, Dischord Records is still probably his favorite label.​

For our first episode of Wemoto Radio, we speak with him about his introduction into producing music and his approach with using samples to create his distinctive mixture of deep, soulful house music.

Davelly est un passionné de musiques électroniques aux multiples influences. 

Ingénieur du son de formation, Dj, et maintenant Producteur, il s'est également beaucoup investi dans divers crew de la scène electronique parisienne pendant des années et évolue désormais en solo. 

Son actualité en 2019 est surtout marqué par divers EP et track sur des labels comme Hustler Trax ou Delve Deeper, mais également par le lancement de son propre label en collaboration avec Dub Striker ; Don't need a million records !
