Cage Girl

The first EP under the project name 'Dahlia Whirlpool Passage' entitled 'Curves To Collages'. Titled for the undulating and collage like nature of the tracks selected. Recorded between 2019-2022. Earliest recordings (track 1&9) were intended to be part of a soundtrack for a potential film which never came to fruition due to the equipment breaking. However, I just continued learning and recording, and this is mostly what came out of that time.
 Cover track 6 'Don't Go' written by Spectrum (Kember, Formby) from (How You Satisfy Me) EP, 1992.

Recorded and produced on the Wurundjeri and Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nations land. I pay my respects and gratitude to elders past, present and future and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded and no treaty has been signed.

I made this after having a panic attack earlier this week. Just tryna survive out here. but it hard. trying get better at expressing and actually grow n not stay in the same patterns but don’t seem to be going too well. man need a vacation from life.
