Nephew has been redefining the genre of Hip-hop/R&B with his style. Born in the BX but raised in Harlem his interest began in youth often finding himself scouting mixtapes being sold and/or handed out in the streets while also discovering new school talents such as Soulja Boy, Too Crunk & Crime Mob early on the internet. Intrigued by the sound he began to craft his own style around 11-12 years old producing his own beats & even recording his own lyrics to follow making him one of the youngest in his neighborhood to do so. His dedication to music and networking gave him a chance to work with local artist early on his career & even mainstream acts such as A Boogie & Fetty Wap. 50 cent, Lil Jon & T-Pain were also major influences of his sound as he also listened to newer acts such as Young Thug, Lil Peep & even Lil B before there rise to fame which explains his odd but unique mixed taste.
