Krismika - Intergalactic FM Festival 2025 [31/05/25]

Mutable Ground is an album created through an exchange of recordings between Anna and Yannis. The project is rooted in the idea of sudden shifts in current events and the ever-growing emotions tied to loss, change, and tension. Each track title is inspired by unstable phenomena and objects, reflecting the potential for unexpected movement and the transitions of both nature and humanity. Repetitive, chaotic drum patterns, vocals that echo sounds of wounded or lost animals, hollow soundscapes reveal a sonic world where creation and destruction coexist—where people dance around fires, caught between fragility and resilience.

Marijn S is a Dutch producer and DJ who showcases the organic age of dance with radiant breaks and gritty, icy soundscapes.

As a producer, Marijn combines multiple contrasts in her work; the raw, pure and timeless essence of music. Embracing simplicity and tranquility, Marijn is also intrigued by darker, experimental, and complex music. Her artistic expression is characterised by the playful juxtaposition of these contrasts.

She’s played notable gigs such as De School (AMS) Garage Noord (AMS), Dekmantel Festival (AMS), La Cheetah (Glasgow) and participated in events like Ilian Tape’s Amsterdam takeover at the Melkweg. Marijn S has recently made her live performance debut for Speedy J's STOOR / PINK NOISE during ADE, playing only with her so described ‘machine of self expression’: One hour full of her own creations, ranging from textured ambience and dreamy IDM to heavy distorted bass, abstract noise and heavy hitting electro & techno.

Her most recent EP, Digital Tears, is entirely composed and produced using the Elektron Machinedrum MKII. Some tracks, like Digital Tears and Soft Fall, were recorded in a single take to capture the raw energy, live vibe, and personal touch that come from working with analog equipment. She uses techniques like layering, resampling and overdubbing to produce a richer, denser, and reimagined sound (Gleam), as well as recording several elements individually, processing and arranging them in a way that enhances the overall coherence of the sound (Magnetic Fields).

I've been involved with music since a young age, playing in bands throughout my teenage years with regular gigs. During this time I started to produce my own music. 
I started releasing my electronic music productions at the very start of 2017 through the Dundee based label 'Hilltown Disco' ran by respected Dj's Ben Rothes and Shmitt. Through this label I released put out a number of tracks. The past few months I've been working on my Collaboration project with fellow producer Dj Personal Space, we're releasing a joint EP on the Edinburgh based label 'Minder Records'. I'm currently working on my own EP's and posting mixes.
