Made for The Legend of Lasso'in, a 2D cowboy lasso game which is my team's submission for the GMTK GameJam 2025! We unfortunately didn't have time to finish the game, but that's how Cowboy Shows go, I guess. We really liked the concept and level design we came up with though so we might make a post-jam version.

In 2019 on 4/13, I released this Doctor remix. I know it's not 4/13, but 8/26 is kinda like 4/13 twice, right? I really liked this remix, but the mixing wasn't perfect. After releasing the song, I fixed the mixing and proceeded to forget about re-releasing it for many years. Here's the final mix I settled on, I think it turned out pretty good. Homestuck still means a lot to me, I'm now looking forward to the Official Homestuck Anime featuring Toby "Sometimes it's OK to call me Radiation" Fox as John Egbert. Truely we live in unprecedented times.

This remix is dedicated to Buzinkai.

I keep saying "I should get back into playing piano more", so I decided to record a few live versions of songs I wrote and post them here. I was going to take this track in a different direction when I wrote it because it originally had lyrics and was supposed to be a duet, but I scrapped it because the lyrics were terrible and I hated my singing voice. This live piano version is closer to that prototype but I have decided to once again spare you from my singing.

Played and recorded on my Roland HP507. My playing isn't very good because I am very rusty.

There don't seem to be that many Integra 7 demos out there, so I thought I'd demo some of the factory presets (and one of my own patches). The better patches (and playing) are more towards the end. You can download it in WAV format so the results of Soundcloud turning everything into a 128K mp3 are nullified. Have a listen to my bad playing, with no post processing except for normalising and getting rid of silence. All effects from the Integra 7.

Opinoin on it: It's actually pretty good, but you need to figure out how to use the engine (I'm not very good at it, hence the presets). The interface on the synth is a bit hard to work with, but I think there's a PC  and Mac editor. The orchestral / acoustic stuff is actually a bit better than Kontakt, and the synth engines are pretty neat. The drum kits are pretty realistic, mostly the snare. You get most of the old Roland rompler stuff included. Also it looks amazing.

SIDE NOTE: There's a audio glitch at 9:39-ish. The Integra didn't do that, I think Audacity glitched out???

No but seriously, sorry for not posting anything for awhile (if anyone still follows me apart from Charlie). This is a test of something I'll probably be making better later, but I thought I'd post before the holidays happen on the chance that I won't get anything done during them. The reason I haven't posted anything for awhile is that I've moved to Jakarta and my new school is hell.

I've been trying new, slightly experimental things with soundfonts 'n stuff because my stupid MacBook Air can't do anything but soundfonts. For this track, I've done an EarthBound menu style track, because why not.

My current setup is Komplete Kontrol -> Macbook -> Midi data -> Alpha Juno 2 (as I've got one with a broken keyboard) -> Quad capture -> Audio -> Export mix -> your ears, which is somewhat inconvenient to set up, as every time I want to use the Alpha Juno I have to set up the entire mess in the thumbnail picture. On top of that, my normal USB C to USB converter does not work with the Quad capture because of power issues (thanks apple), so I have to use a different adaptor. We are moving houses soon, and in the next house I get a whole room dedicated to synthesizers, which should make things incredibly easy to do. But for now, I'm stuck with this janky setup.

This is just a test track to try out the Alpha Juno. Expect more Alpha Juno songs Soon TM, or possibly not, because we are about to go on holidays. Expect more Alpha Juno in a couple of months!

Hey, it's ya boi NeRd, back with another unfinished track. I've been in a bit of a creative rut recently, sorry I haven't put things out! I'll have some time to work on projects, so stay tuned! I like this song, but I can't figure out what to do with it, and I don't think it's finished as is, so I'm just putting it out there for now. I swear I'll actually finish a main project soon! I might try to "remaster" some of my old songs and put them up on bandcamp, as well as the upcoming album that I've been saying will come out for like 2 years lmao. In other news I've been enjoying programming drums a bit more in depth, and I've spent some time with a professional film composer so I've got a bit more experience on how to actually master tracks!

In eight grade, I made a hilarious soap opera based off Romeo and Juliet for an english project. I still maintain that it was by far the funniest thing I've ever done. If I had been better at music, this would have been the theme for it. Not finished, but I've gotten to the point where I've spent too much time tweaking it, so I'll put it here until I think it sounds better than this.
