Stockholm duo “Avancera”, consisting of Dorisburg and Kalawila, explores the void with their debut EP. Over five releases, Stockholm label Mountain Explosion Device had made its intentions clear—to release the absolute best in subtly morphing, psychedelic techno. Its sixth release is no different. The A-side displays rogue frequencies seeping through an ominous office building, as fully automated cleaning bots pass each other through revolving doors. “Skogenräna” adds an addictive percussion-based venture into the feral forests of their native Sweden. The remix comes courtesy of Berlin based
wonderchild Mor Elian. A mind bending desert trip from one of the most exciting producers out there.

The Spy Who Shagged Me

Less than one year after his 2019 release entitled ‘Trans Asia Express’, DVS NME returns with a collection of original tracks that were produced between 2018-2020. This 30-track album is a not-so-subtle nod to the Electro inspirations that have helped to influence the DVS NME sound that has developed over the course of the last 20 years. The most obvious influence is that of Detroit pioneers Drexciya and subsequent projects by Gerald Donald. The album pays homage to Dopplereffekt’s 1999 album ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ in both its title and cover art. The release ranges from brooding, downtempo machine funk all the way to dancefloor-oriented melodic Electro. The album relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, and TR-909. DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 10 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear and more. DVS NME - Thirty-Six

Broadcast on radio C Lab on October 2, 2020. 

Ten years of productions, releases from 2016 on more and more prestigious labels (Eddy Larkin, Rawax, R&S), and an irrepressible need to broadcast sound despite the context led A-Sim to launch its label, Human Disease Network last June. A DIY formula, 100% digital, fast and efficient. Six releases already, two or three others are planned for the moment...On September 18th, he released the compilation Rennes All Stars which gathers the cream of the Rennes producers on 11 tracks oscillating between house, electro and techno. This accomplished DJ and producer is above all a fan of hybrid and unbridled, intelligent, even ironic music.

Of course, he grabs the turntables at the end of the show for an explosive electro break set.

A-SIM - ELAB MIXES

During the last 14 years Michal and his label staged events like Komiks, got the city freaking out at massive warehouse parties packed with experimental lighting. Komiks events provide a biotope where artists can connect and share their music and vision.

For the new EP on RFR, Michal Schwa teamed up with Name Does Not Matter (NDNM/Footclan) and synth prodigy Daniel Mencel. Boys went went deep into the kitchen and came back out with 4 dance floor ready cuts, sizzling from rare to well-done.
