The journey starts with breaks courtesy of old schoolers Nick Warren and Sasha, takes a clubby edge then settles into some underground prog with a fierce kick from the likes of Guy J, Jamie Stevens and Alex O'Rion. The turn sees acid breaks dominate finishing with some lushness from Matter's stunning album to settle back to earth.

For its first release, Trancemutations Records delivers Psyfunk Morphosis, a 13 track compilation showcasing the multiple facets of hyper groovy psytrance infused with funk, compiled by @estebandesigual.

Psyfunk isn’t really a style, more like an attitude : the kind that puts groove before formulas and fun before purity. It’s messy, melodic, and full of swing. This is why this compilation feels like a ride through different energies, tempos, and worlds. Trancemutations starts right there, with a sound that transcends the psytrance rulebook. Psyfunk doesn’t fit inside subgenres, it melts them, then dances on the remains.
