Ahead of the release of his second EP Fallen Tree, Dubrunner steps back into the fold with his new single ‘Shangdao’s Revenge’. Coming correct on his Menace label, he continues to shape out a vital, modernist slant on the soundsystem tradition.

‘Shangdao’s Revenge’ is a monolithic, moody half-stepper electrified with dub techno chord shimmers and elastic breakbeats, and spaced out with deep wells of atmospheric processing.

Operating from a firm foundation of steppas, dub and digi, once again Dubrunner folds broader club influences into his constructions to create a versatile sound that naturally ports the distinctive flavour of Jamaican music into other dancefloor contexts.

Gent1e $oul - OC Stepper (Dubrunner's Melodica mix)

We are so excited to welcome @opheliek to our mix series. The French, Berlin-based DJ and producer has an affinity for low frequencies, intricate percussions and bass-heavy music in all its forms. As an early lover of dub music, UK techno, IDM, and illegal raves, their sound often finds itself at the intersection between dubstep, techno, IDM, with hints of psychedelic music and trance.

“I had quite a different idea originally for this mix, but ended up being quite ill and super tired the last few days, so the recording had to be much more spontaneous and less planned than what I usually like to do for a podcast. It's more of a feverish dream, and showed me I may have some bottled up feelings and a bit of anger inside (who doesn't, seeing the world we live in now)! It felt good to express it through this mix which ended up being quite intense and psychedelic, but also softer and more introspective in parts.”

For the first time ever, Berlin-based producers DJ Spit and Mathis Ruffing link up for a 4 track collaboration. Tekky, bass-heavy and built for sweaty floors, these cuts channel the pulse of the two like minded heads and push club systems to their limit.

Echoed from the chamber of the piled up dreams, they crawl and submerge towards Meandro. They are no aliens to the underwater sonic periphery, where silence never persists, the thrumming and humming, the sizzles and swishes, afar or beside, come from every corner of the aquarium of the subconsciousness. Looking around, they only find themselves alone, in divine solitude, immersed in the sound - there is nothing to resist, to fight against, there are only sprinting shadows and a haunting soundscape to embrace - the magnificent void that welcomes you at the gate of Meandro.

Nerve Collect's first drop of 2026 comes from Lyon-based Rinse France regular Hyas. His Sub Science EP reflects his hyperactive creativity and collides footwork, dubstep, grime, techno, house and 2-step with guest features from Capo Lee and Unsho.

Hyas is a prolific producer who's shown his sound has no real boundaries. More than 30 EPs in the last decade have roamed free across the underground spectrum, always steeped in irresistible rhythms and future-facing sound designs. He heads up his own Bardouin Music label and is known for an explosive alchemic style and surgical precision when building a vibe in the club.

The EP opens with 'Za Effect', which contrasts melancholic chords with tough, crisp drums and hits. Aching female coos linger in the spaces as the sub bass envelops from below to make for an emotional and physical trip. Seoul Skank' then builds constant low-end pressure with meticulously layered drums, bass and percussive intent. Classic soundbwoy motifs and dubby chords ripple out of this most full-bodied sound. 'Outside' features red-hot North London MC Capo Lee and his grimy bars ride warped bass and punchy dubstep rhythms that will test your speakers and fire up any party

Distant sirens and warped bass sketch out an urban landscape and encourage heads-down dancing. 'Sua Da' zones you out with digital melodies raining down the face of a militant dub swagger. Sustained chords layer in optimism to what is a peak time weapon. Next is 'Pressure' featuring rising French producer Unsho, and it's an authentic dubstep wobbler with dark vocals. Finally, 'Motion Kale' cuts loose with distorted low-end chaos, crashing snares that startle every time and screwy, acidic synths. It's meticulous madness that never lets up.

While stitching together club pressure, emotional weight and technical mastery without ever sounding forced, Hyas's restless visions continue to refuse easy categorisation.

Antigravity Festival 2026 - The Taj DUNJ Takeover - Opening Druidstep

WHY WE RAVE EP - Out 01/07/26
2. DEEP DIVE
This project is a reminder that raves have always been more than parties.
They are moments of liberation, community, and resistance. Built by us, for everyone.
At a time when governments are once again trying to criminalize free parties, this EP is a tribute to our culture that refuses to disappear. Turn it up.
This is for everyone who's ever found freedom on a dancefloor.
Remember why we rave.

WHY WE RAVE

Dragan Zaranoff - DEEP DIVE

The amphibious lore continues. Pépe marks his return to Elicit with four stripped-back cosmic excursions, each crafted for a distinctly different part of the night. Once again working the intersection of grime, bass and experimental club music, the Valencian producer delivers four precise cuts oozing finesse and intricately detailed sound design. Gloriously unhinged stuff.
