My Immortal [Deep House Remix] Evanescence

My name is Vanessa Christine (Nessa Chris for short) and I am an independent Electronic Music Producer. I have created my own tracks and remixes for 4 years. I was introduced to music theory, reading music and also piano lessons through my dad, as a child. Music runs in my close and distant family. I feel very lucky to have this foundation, as I fell in love with the Electronic Dance Music scene before any input, at a very young age. It was always my dream to be able to produce my own Electronic Dance Music. Now, I'm aiming to expand my current online audience, of all ages, on SoundCloud and More.

I am gaining even more listeners, replays every day and loyal followers every week. I can complete a track within 1-3 days as it feels natural for me. I am aiming to finalize and publish a track every 2-4 weeks.

Where it started: At the age of 10, I'd spend my Sunday afternoons playing 'eJay', a Windows XP program where you can create your own dance music using 'loops' and arrange your track by 'dragging and dropping' the sequences/sounds/drum loops. I'd go on it all day and never ran out of ideas. I had a very good sense of rhythm, beats, timing and transitions. I'd even have dreams regularly of unknown music, that sounded classical and I'd dream of many melodies, over the years. I'd play songs by ear on my keyboard and guitar. Then I learnt how to mix at the age of 19, on my mini Denon DJ mixer, then on my current Pioneer XDJ-RX. Playing all dance genres. Making my own tracks was always on my mind. Then I decided to start using the Reason software by Propellerhead in 2020. I use my Arturia Keylab midi keyboard but also use the 'on-screen keyboard' (a piano roll where you can use the mouse to make separate notes etc) and I'd also use this to complete and finalise my tracks.

Over the years, I'd go to see Superstar DJs/Producers live i.e. Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Chase & Status, Oliver Heldens, Disciples, Sander Van Doorn, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Basshunter, Ferry Corsten, Cedric Gervais, Aly & Filas, Sick Individuals and many more. It wasn't until 2020, when I finally started to make my own tracks and remixes. I am determined more than ever, as hundreds of people have replayed my tracks in many countries, the past 2 years especially. I enjoy doing what I create and many people message me on Instagram and tracks to say they love my tracks. Whether its a remix or my own original tracks. I create what I like to hear and of course, try to create what people might like, when I have my ideas. If you like one of my tracks.. that's awesome and makes me smile! Everyone has their tastes and makes everyone unique! I'm still on a learning curve!
