Can’t Call it sees Ness Julius and frequent collaborator Joe Maynor linking up once again for an instant west coast classic. The song sees Ness Julius speaking to a young woman as she’s finishing college and reassuring her that even tho she’s manifesting her dreams, it’s okay to prepare for the worse. Even if the worse is losing him for good, doing his best to reassure her, Ness Julius is still having a tough time trying to convince this young woman. The track then transitions ever so smoothly to Mr. Maynor’s verse, which adds such an atmosphere to the song as Joe Maynor takes more of a reflective approach, speaking from a perspective with more experience. This track is definitely a great song to cap off the summer.
