The Light/The Shadow mixes part of my final project for a class called Dreamwork while I was in Massage School circa 2008. We explored the power of our Light and shadow and how their interaction is constantly present in our lives.  I am grateful for the strength that music  have given me through the year to deal with this so called reality.... there is no rhyme or reason for these two mixes.... just enjoy the ride

Well, hello there.... 

This is Nest

I am a multifaceted artist with a deep passion for music

I identify as a vinyl collector, music curator and Disc Jockey

My collection started at age of 4 and includes all genres but has an emphasis in Electronic Music (European Disco + House + Techno + Ambient House)

I can often be seen at live music events and arts/music festivals in Southern California. I am a Coachella veteran since 1999. My current favorite festival is CRSSD Festival in San Diego, CA. 

I've also participated in that amazing social experiment called Burning Man. I've been multiple times, hence the Burner in my name. I was a core member in a collaborative art project know as The Journey Project. TJP built two large scale art installations: The Journey (Burning Man 2017) and The Sacred Journey (Temple at Youtopia 2017). 

I produced a series of dance meditations under the moniker Mr. Happy Nes  between 2008 and 2011. 

After a whirlwind of life events, twists and turns, time has come to return to my first love: Music. Cheers 2023!

Please know that is material is raw and registered between 2008 and 2017 so compassion around my learning process is welcome. Also, the set labeled "The Light / The Shadow" is part of the final project for a class called Dreamworks during my studies in Holistic Health. and will eventually be deleted..
