This past April, Anna Lunoe kicked off the festival season on the Sahara Stage making her Coachella debut. The set was a sophisticated genre-bending thrill ride winning her legions of new fans. A particular tribal club record in her set caught the attention of Skrillex, resulting in him signing, mixing and mastering the track himself. Now Anna has teamed up with Nest to bring you the Bass Drum Dealer (B.D.D) EP.

With B.D.D, Anna takes us on a journey through house-inspired jungle rhythms, industrial synths, and a slamming half-time breakdown, with the song punctuated by Lunoe’s hypnotic vocals.

After releasing a series of spectacular EPs over the past year-and-a-half, Barong Family’s boy wonder Chace (who has only just turned 19) is preparing for his debut album, to be released in 2018. First single ‘Neon Lights’ is out today and brings out the dreamy quality to his sound in a whole new way.

Where house and garage have always underpinned Chace’s tracks, ‘Neon Lights’ is more reminiscent of early ’00s Discovery-era midtempo Daft Punk jams. It’s a melancholy love story set in the nocturnal metropolis, where love is fleeting and longing eternal. Not for the first time, the Chinese producer, singer, songwriter and DJ has outdone himself and you can bet that it won’t be the last time, either.

Within months of being discovered while playing his own music in a Shanghai club, Chace put out his first release on Barong Family. Shortly after, he was the first Chinese DJ to perform at Tomorrowland and he was back for the second time this past summer. ‘Neon Lights’ and the forthcoming album follow Chace’s successful Destination, Definition and Connections EPs.

Pobedia & Nebyla - Good Morning EP, forthcoming on Drift Deeper Recordings 006

Both these guys have been very busy this year releasing a few ep's and albums between them.  2 very exciting artist with a wide range of styles to express.  I was very excited and honoured for them to be able to squeeze in a release on Drift Deeper before the year ends.

Nebyla takes us back to basics with s stripped-down funky deep house track.  A wonderful melody, beat and vocal hooks come together beautifully to create "Mountain Yard".  
Pobedia goes deep on us once again with a mesmerizing deep ambient-drone filled techno track.  I really get the feeling of being up at 6am making my way to work, walking through the city watching as the first beams of sunlight penetrate through the cold concrete structures.  Adding a warm glow to the city as it starts to come alive with people going about their days and traffic running through the veins of the city.
