The lone adventurer embraces the desolation of the countryside. The quietness looms over the plains as the wind whispers through the swaying crops. The steady impact of your trusted horses swift footsteps to venture to the next campsite. The venture out west unbeknownst to the traveler will open a world of possibility. The brightness of invisible rain glimmering in the sun as it falls to nurture the land in which you traveled toward. Trouble on the homestead is ahead but for now our Western Venture if full of hope and promise one iron clad step at a time.

We just can't get enough of 23 year old youngster and rising Desert Hearts Records star Fritz Carlton. After signing one of the biggest EPs on the label to date with "That's My Kinda Night", he immersed himself in the vibe of our community and absolutely destroyed the place at our Spring Festival 2016. Playing largely a set filled with his unreleased productions and personal edits to classic tracks, on Sunday night of the festival he gave us something so fresh and so dirty that it was hard not to join the frenzy our family was whipped into. With an arsenal of original productions, an unrivaled work ethic and drive, and a gangsterific swagger to hold down any dance floor, we know this kid is going to be a star and can't wait to watch his rise to prominence in the next couple of years. Let's just say we had a family vote and we're keeping him. ✌

One of LA's foremost producers at the intersection of hip-hop and electronic music, Salva has been featured on NEST HQ since its inception as he's evolved through the industry. His 'Complex Housing' album on Friends of Friends blended different style of electronic music and, though it created a formative basis for the emergence of trap music, its stylings were far more eclectic. Salva then joined Jay-Z's Roc Nation management roster, releasing a mixtape called 'Peacemaker' in 2014 filled with features from the likes of Freddie Gibbs and Young Thug, and in 2017 and 2018 he moved back towards instrumental music on his 'Clips' album series.
