"We wanted to do something quite one steppy. A really bouncy/cheeky groove with lots of little elements coming in and out. Loads of tiny chopped up breaks and 808 elements with some pitched snippets from an old boogie record. Then we added the dramatic synth brass motif before the drop. " - NAPT

NAPT - Party Politics [NEST028]

"This started off as a drum riff with little chops and stuff. Then we listened to it a bit later and decided we should totally finish it, so we fleshed it out with some cool live pianos and little sequences from the studio. We were actually both influenced by that RnB sound that was so innovative in the late 90s early 2000s so we wanted to make something with a little 'bump'. Ashley drives around listening to it super loud." - NAPT

"Roska sent over one of his drum work outs and we added the baseline from the Yamaha CS-80. We sampled Ashley's voice and had fun getting creative pitching it and running it through various effects. We added some breakdown parts and layered quite a few different samples and little chops on it. Our raw take on more classic house." - NAPT
