De to brødre ingrediJens og Lars Virkli har lavet musik i mange år - både sammen og hver for sig. I 2015 dannede de gruppen Asbestose og udgav deres selvbetitlede debutalbum.

I mellemtiden har albummet været igennem maskinen hos label-kammeraten Carl, der har knastificeret det godt og grundigt. Det hele er blevet til et 40-50 minutters langt mixtape med 10 gæster plus det løse.
