Dança do Dia is the new EP from Istanbul-based duo Roman & Toliver, a journey through earthy grooves and organic textures. The release brings two tracks that explore different roots of movement and voice. "Yamagucci" blends Indian chants and mantra-like vocals with a hypnotic, driving rhythm, while the title track "Dança do Dia" dives into afro-melodic grooves shaped by organic elements and a deep, natural pulse. A release that speaks to both the body and the spirit, carried by the duo's unique sound.

Label boss Schtu returns to Casomat with 'The Magician EP', a four-track release showcasing a slightly more nuanced side to his production style - one which he has previously only flirted with. Broken beats, stripped-back basslines, and even a track where, in his own words, "nothing much happens". For the Berlin-based producer and DJ, it’s a step into largely uncharted territory. Still, even though the EP demonstrates diversity in terms of mood and aesthetic, it still retains the melodic sensibilities and sharp arrangements that have become synonymous with Schtu's productions.

So, what to expect? Well, if each of the tracks had to have their own defining role in a kind of Spice Girls-esque arrangement, we'd probably assign them the following; LSD - the clubby one; The Magician - the deep one; Serendipity - the driving one; and Dopamine - the not-four-to-the-floor one.

It was such an honour to return to South Africa straight into a place that feels like home. Pangea is a space I hold incredibly close to my heart, and stepping back onto the Canyon stage, a place where I’ve poured so much of myself into over the years. Giving back to that dance floor, in the way it has always served me, filled me with so much gratitude, It felt truly special.
Friday night was unforgettable, playing between some of my favourite acts and friends, feeling the magic of the crowd once again. It was also really meaningful to play two of my unreleased tracks, soon to be released on Serafin Audio Imprint. I’m so excited for what’s coming next.

So grateful to return to this sacred place. It was beautiful.
