It was such an honour to return to South Africa straight into a place that feels like home. Pangea is a space I hold incredibly close to my heart, and stepping back onto the Canyon stage, a place where I’ve poured so much of myself into over the years. Giving back to that dance floor, in the way it has always served me, filled me with so much gratitude, It felt truly special.
Friday night was unforgettable, playing between some of my favourite acts and friends, feeling the magic of the crowd once again. It was also really meaningful to play two of my unreleased tracks, soon to be released on Serafin Audio Imprint. I’m so excited for what’s coming next.

So grateful to return to this sacred place. It was beautiful.

Susu a.k.a David Oren is a Tel Aviv based DJ and producer, deeply rooted in the city’s vibrant nightlife scene for over two decades. Known for his behind-the-scenes influence, David was one of the driving forces behind some of Tel Aviv’s most iconic venues — including the legendary Breakfast Club, The Cat and the Dog, Dada, and Sexi Fish.

After years of shaping the city’s nightlife from the business side, David has stepped into the creative forefront. Over the past two years, he has been producing and performing his own music — bringing his deep connection to the dance floor into sound. This release on Cologne’s Feines Tier label marks his debut as a solo artist, blending experience, energy, and emotion into a fresh new chapter.

AMyn - Twisted River (Canson Remix) [Iorie Upcycle Edit]

Opening track ‘1977’ unfolds like a widescreen dreamscape, with suspended fields of synths arcing over a warmly booming, long-tailed sub-bass. Heaving synth sweeps, melodically intricate arpeggios, and fluttering square waves paint a morphing, hypnotic canvas that floats across the periphery. Deeply meditative, but suited for the almost-peak-time with a throbbing groove and dynamic sub-bass, 1977 is a slow-burning journey that wraps warmly arcing, spaced out melodics around a tight rhythmic core.

With Hold On Me, Istanbul-based producer and DJ @cemgemalmaz delivers a deeply personal, yet forward-thinking debut release on Rare Affair, blurring the line between club functionality and intimate expression. Built around a subtly off-rhythm groove, the track unfolds with quiet confidence - never rushing, never forcing momentum, but pulling the listener in through tension and restraint.

At the core of the release are Cem’s own vocals, woven organically into the groove. Rather than taking center stage, they drift through the arrangement like a fragment of thought - raw, understated, and emotionally charged. The result is a sound that feels human and imperfect in the best way, balancing vulnerability with a strong sense of control.
