Shadowplay is a track I actually wrote years ago, inspired by people who hide behind their emotions not because they’re bad, but because they’re scared. Scared of being seen, scared of getting hurt, scared of facing something real.
I kept these lyrics tucked away for a long time, and now that I’ve been deep into mixing dark effects and creepy EDM vibes, this song finally came alive.

This version blends:
🔥 dark female whispers
🔥 seductive spoken lines
🔥 spooky hide-and-seek tension
🔥 heavy EDM & horror bass
🔥 witch-house energy
🔥 shadowy ambience
🔥 and a cinematic Halloween-style vibe

It’s about the little games people play when they’re afraid to show their truth,  the push, the pull, the lies, the hiding, the shadows they think nobody sees. So I resurrected this old idea, twisted it into something spookier and sassier, and brought it back from the dead.

And no this track isn’t aimed at anyone specific. Pieces of it actually came from things I wrote WAY back in the day, when I was just a teenager scribbling lyrics and dark ideas in notebooks. I always wanted to be a writer, even though people told me I couldn’t because of my disability… so I became one anyway.
A lot of those old thoughts stayed in my little “lyric graveyard” for years until I finally revived them and gave them a new life. An oldie, but definitely a goodie. And hey… if the shoe fits for anybody out there? Well… that’s between them and their shadows. 😉
