His approach is rooted in building sonic worlds where driving percussion, layered textures, and shifting atmospheres draw listeners into states both cerebral and primal, transmitting soundscapes as imprints of place, memory, and human experience.
   At the heart of his practice is a fascination with sound as a form of communication and memory. Each set becomes a narrative, sculpted from pulses and fragments that resonate like echoes of place and experience, balancing deep immersion with forward propulsion.
  Since stepping behind the decks in 2024, sibi-lo has carried this vision from London’s underground to international dance floors in Moldova, Romania, Portugal, and Belgium. Beyond the club, his monthly radio shows extend this duality: Aural Almanac on SET Vault explores meditative, ambient soundscapes shaped by field recordings, while SOMNA on Voices Radio channels his deeper, driving club sound.

Gareth’s story begins in 1992 during the early years of Jungle. By ’94 he had developed a strong addiction to vinyl and London’s underground rave culture.

As the label owner of EarToGround Records and LDNwht, and resident DJ at FOLD, he has also released on legendary labels such as New Rhythmic, Hardtools, Soma, Projekts and Granulart and has been remixed by the likes of Oscar Mulero.

For this session, stripped of the club’s intensity, he reveals another side of his artistry - one rooted in the atmospheric and the immersive.
