It's clear. I like Bass. And i have been always a hugh fan of Miami Bass. You know: Gucci Crew, 2 Live Crew, and so on...
This one is a hommage to that deep bass and of course the 808. And to the caribean vibe that runs through the town.

Sophie Marceu! My first love, i guess. And she is still one of the most beautiful women alive. And when i started the song with that piano part. It felt like that feeling when you are a teenager and fall in love for the first time. And of course: That french touch, that softness, and that romantic feeling. Its like the music tells the story of the film but without the pictures and the words...

It startet with 212 from Azelia Banks as a inspiration. But it went way off the track. It became something totally new. The song represents may love for Breaktbeats, Rave and straight forward dance music in one piece. Enjoy.

After a creative pause i started to make songs again. The first song always comes with a lot of discovering new sounds, new techniques and finding the right vibe for the right moment. The trumpets and trombones made the song feel very different then everything before. A little bit reggae/ska, a little bit marching and a lot of electronic, so "Captain General" felt like the right title. And for shure i'm a Major Lazer fan right from the beginning.

Everything started with the opening theme of the HBO TV-Series Treme. The Song "The Treme Song" by John Boutté has so much groove. Funny with what i ended up. But i hope i caught some of the groove from the original song at least. And thats why the sing is called "New Orleans".

It all startet with NI's Polyplex. Just tried to figure it out. Then i added some bass and here we are. The melody in the third part reminds me of the good old days with British Hardcore (you know, before Drum & Bass!!!)! It was fast and hard and so much fun...

Brit-O-Poly

A song about the good things from the past that we'll remember. Some things are never getting old. And good music ist here to stay...

I started with the chords in the middle of the track. Then i added the drums (some really good Linn Drumm samples) and it became good. But it wasnt perfect yet. There was something missing: the lead synthesizer! I tried to come close. I think I am. I made one by myself with cubases retriologue and doubled it, with a reaktor instrument from the user library (a Jupiter clone). So its the best from two worlds. Old and new. But listen for yourself. And give me some feedback. Repost if u like it.

The Linn Experience

A feel-good song to start into the new year. Let's run-up into a great 2018.

First, I tried to make a second "The Rundown", because a very good friend of mine likes that song very much. But like everytime i try to copy a song it becomes something very new.

"The Run-Up" has some sounds that are familiar to regular listener of my sound. But there are some new sounds as well. I listen to alot of 80ies music right now. After listening to AXEL F. from Harold Faltermyer (for the 1000st time) i was ispired by the Marimba-Arpeggio-Part in the middle of that song. You will know instantly where the inspiration found its place in my song.

I used some Steinberg and NI Plugins. I really starting to get used to REAKTOR 6! Its amazing. Now enjoy and leave a like, if u like it. And please REPOST!

SAMSTAG ist german for saturday. Back in 2006 i was working on a conceptalbum called "the week". Unfortunatly I have never finished the album. SAMSTAG would have covered the partynight of the week. Woudn't you agree, that there is no better day to party than saturday?
I think the track SAMSTAG is now ready to be set free to the world. So, say "hello world" to the track SAMSTAG for the first time.

World Wide West - an hommage to the good old soundtrack of western movies. It took me a while to finaly finish this song. But now I'm really happy with the result. I can't remember anymore, where i got the inspiration from.In the beginning, the working title was "Top Model". It didn't feel right at the end. And then there was that image in my head of a cowboy (or cowgirl) riding throug the prairie. What do you think?

I love mallet instruments, I love melodies and I love complex arrangements. This song has it all. It starts soft and romantic, it flows gently like water in a creek. Then the speed increases, rapids are coming and the beats are standing against the water like the rock stands against the current. I'm sure everybody sees and hears music differently. That's how I am hearing it. What do you hear?
