Bliznicana is sqgl's Croatian Mum who has Dementia and he mixed her made-up words over the top of the previous night's jam. She was listening to the track and the FX on her voice. Her vocal track has not been cut-up... it truly represents her reaction to the music.

DF-2 In C

This an excerpt of a live jam using and instrument called "Bill 3Osc Test Autophase". Uses my new Moog-style "fixed filter bank", my 3-band formant filter (for the whooshy filter sweeps), a simple sequencer which opens a gate to another Multi Osc set to noise. The microtonal scale was a complete accident, but I want to explore these modalities more.... Dedicated to Jane Kleeb, of Bold Nebraska, and pipeline fighters everywhere... This a quick demo... needs better mastering...

Snake Charmer

New track using custom 5-oscillator patch. I've implemented a simple ADSR circuit for the string pluck. (you can see 3 instances of it here). My new sequencer module seen (center) is unused in this track. You can also see 2 instances of my Moog "Fixed Filter" bank, which I use to shape the string-pluck and later, the noise.

The regenerative feedback gets a little out of control in one spot... ~5:40 ish

One interesting note: there is a strange bubbling sound which you can hear at about the 4min mark is due to a quirk with the PD user-interface. The [hsl] I used as the "bender" for my 3-band formant filter is being driven by a randomizing circuit (which is switched off). I've noticed I can grab and move the slider, but after a short time, PD resets it to the driven value. So the bubbling effect is caused by me dragging the slider, as PD is trying to restore the value to what it "should" be. Interesting the quirks with the UI can be used with nice musical consequences!

Nostalgia

7 - 12 - 2015 "Lifetime Opportunity" This is an upbeat thing...  100% pure PD. Starts with a 3 Oscillator cluster through 3-band formant filter tuned to a chord. First we play a melody by moving this chord around. Then we put a random sample-hold LFO on the filter. Synched are 2 mini-sequencers triggering a drum-like sounds. 

Lifetime Opportunity

This is a demo track for my "Ultimate 12-Band Flanger" patch written in Pure Data (PD) available in my BHPDToolkit on Github. This is dedicated to my friend and colleague at ShaleshockMedia, Cris McConkey, who was instrumental in documenting the history of the movement to Ban Fracking in New York. I know Cris would appreciate the technology I used, that I built a custom musical instrument for this.  Cris is on his way to Cuba to get an experimental cancer treatment. hmm, happy with the long sample import thing in pd but annoyed by the fact that each time I change the "page" in my controller, the values of some parameters receive a "reset"...  That is like a "ghost" friend  disturbing me, trying to lead me to other directions...   let me kill that thing NOw! ; ).   gute nacht!.
