Description: Inspired by Steve Reich's "Piano Phase", we used just three simple instrument phrases overlaid with delays and cutups for a generative composition which we tweaked a little during recording.

REDUZENT recorded a take without sqgl, more controlled bell sounds, unambiguous 4/4 kick, soft hats.

Inspired by the primordial chord in the Radiolab podcast: The Catachlysm Sentence. It consists of all twelve notes in the western scale played simultaneously (although we played only 6 chromatically adjacent notes during every "verse").

Recorded just after the earthquake and two aftershocks in NW Afghanistan which FRKNS felt (being only a couple hundred km away in Mashhad Iran). Mastered by FRKNS.

SQGL+FRKNS - TripleShake (netpd 2023-10-06)

Unintentionally used all notes of the diatonic scale, overlapping them for chords, essentially exploring the "Primordial Chord" concept. 

Context: this week was in the fog of war in Gaza (where the Gazan hospital was wrongly reported to have been bombed by Israel).

Resumed uploading after several years of not bothering although we have been jamming the whole time, except for during the Coronavirus pandemic where it was sporadic, although other newcomers discovered netpd to be perfect for lockdowns, uploading their own tinkering via @unsounds-netpd where they often test new virtual instruments and effects thanks to Beem's contributions to netpd code.
