Public Service Broadcasting - Go! [Radio Edit]

This summer has passed again, and I wrote this song as my thoughts out loud.
I was sitting at home, looking out the window, and realized — everything is no longer the same as before. The same sky, the same trees, the same houses, but inside it feels different. I’m thirty-five now, but sometimes it feels like I’m a schoolkid again, with classes starting tomorrow.

This song is about nostalgia, about autumn that always comes suddenly. About memories that never fade, and about how we all remain children at heart, even as the years go by. It carries both sadness and warmth. It’s my attempt to stop the moment, even though I know that time keeps moving forward.

This summer has passed again

I was lucky enough to spend 10 days at the wonderful Mareh festival in Bahia, Brasil over New Year. It was an amazing time spent with old friends, new friends and in my opinion some of the best DJs around. 

The festival is set in Boipeba in Bahia and the parties are thrown on boats, beaches and in the jungle by the Mareh posse who really know how to make a party tick. In my opinion it is one of the best festivals you will ever come across.

This mix is inspired by those people, those times and the music I played and heard while on the Island.
