The oud scratches here — literally. Fingernails dragged across all six strings in one sharp rake, a turntable attack from a 10th-century instrument. It riffs, palm-muted and relentless. And in the quiet moments, it ghosts — single notes floating like a signal that never quite reaches.

The piano carries the neon. The oud carries the wound.

And in the bridge, everything drops. Just piano. Just voice. Just the line this whole song was built toward:

*"I was never lost out there — I was lost in here."*

And then:

*"Lost is just the word before you find where you belong."*
