The Arrival

Tongues of Concrete is a cinematic industrial techno journey through rusted ruins, decaying systems, and mechanical sorrow. Each track pulses like a broken signal from a forgotten future, echoing with melodic tension and haunting beauty.

Blending raw industrial textures, deep rhythmic drive, and epic ambient atmospheres, this EP tells the story of a post-human world where machines remember more than we’d dare.

Unit Nine Is Counting

We are continuing our collaborative relationship [Metalogue & Fluff] with 'Tephra', a brand new track featuring prominently on Metalogue's upcoming album 'Anomaly' (Combat Recordings). 

This time, we've pushed the boundaries quite a bit and experimented much more with concept and abstraction - something already hinted at, but never pursued to such an extent in our previous album 'Slate Horizons' (2018).

Relentless percussion and manic vocalisations contrast with ethereal voices and a mesmerising piano modulation based around the recurring melodic theme of the album.

Partly inspired by a freak volcanic winter event in 1816, 'Tephra' ties in with the overall album theme - a fascination with sci-fi and mysterious 'zones' - and plays with the juxtaposition of disaster and chaos vs. stillness, ruins, and the long forgotten.

As with all tracks on 'Anomaly', Metalogue recombined elements of 'Tephra' into the other album tracks, whilst mangled excerpts of 'Tephra' also resurface in Monster X’s cataclysmic 'Anomaly' remix.

'Anomaly' is available now for digital pre-order, and members of Metalogue’s mailing list will receive a free download code for the entire album a few days before official release in February 2020.

My name is Si from London. I started this project back in 2022 when I started to reconnect with 80s music. I then became mildly obsessed with Synthwave and furthermore by anything remotely Cyberpunk in aesthetic. I also have a background in LoFi & Metal.

I dropped my first EP back in 2022 and have been honing my craft since, getting better at production and mixing.
