Don't Hold Back / Cartier is the first sampler off of the forthcoming third album from Bachelors Of Science set for release early 2015 on CODE Recordings.

Featuring the vocal talents of Dylan Germick, Don't Hold Back is a deep moody cut of vocal DnB, perfect for the changing seasons. In addition to the DnB version this release will also include a stripped back "808" version.

Cartier as the backing track brings some of the classic BoS soulful vibes that the scene has come to know and love. Lush guitars, piano chords and sultry vocals carry this melancholy track along.

Both tracks are taken from the upcoming album "II", set for release in early 2015. Enjoy, and thanks for the support!

“Sprouted and Formed” is the inaugural album from enthralling electronic duo Rawtekk. Hailing from Hamburg in Germany, Rawtekk initially caught the attention of Med School with the sublime “Snowflakes” which features on the 2011 edition of the label’s popular “New Blood” compilation series.

Rawtekk will also be a familiar name to discerning fans of techy/neuro drum & bass, having released on labels such as Subtitles and Noisia’s Division Recordings. Past collaborations include tracks with fellow Hamburg resident and close friend Phace (Neosignal).

Fast forward to 2013 and Stefan and Christine return to Med School with their first ever full-length long-player which effortlessly combines precision engineering with elegant song-writing sensibilities.

Opener “A Magnanimous Kind’s Will” is a beautiful, dreamy utterance with a distinctive take on dubstep, whilst elsewhere we have eerie, melancholy tracks such as “Anywhere” juxtaposed with introspective drum & bass cuts like “Photone Recruits” and the spaced-out beatless melodies of “Ventricle”.

Keeping us on our toes, Rawtekk really up the ante with tough, gnarly drum & bass numbers “To Be A Space Monkey” and “Monopolists And Robberies” which dominate the second half of the album with their impressive force.

“Sprouted and Formed” is a captivating story told through a range of soundscapes and emotions… profound and haunting, surreal and cinematic, brutish yet sensitive, bringing together complexity and simplicity.

Neurodriver, aka Dom Smart, is a UK-based producer, sound designer, audio software developer and DJ, with a long string of releases to his name.

His genre-defying music blends influences from techno, house and psychedelia into a futuristic hybrid of hypnotic sound, expertly crafted for full-range sound systems. Being a classically-trained musician and an expert sound designer, his music possesses an emotional diversity ranging from grinding machine rhythms to moments of sublime beauty– equally at home on sun-drenched festival stages, or dark, peak-time dance floors.

As a DJ, Dom’s energetic and improvisatory sets have rocked clubs and festival dancefloors all over the world, including Fabric, Glastonbury, Burning Man, Boom, Glade, Noisily, and many more. And when he’s not DJing or writing music, Dom develops music software with his company, Devious Machines.
