Techno Mix 2017-09-18

All sounds come from a 4h live recording session with Fruity Loops, two sequencers feeding each other back, four synths are listening and playing. All sequencer patterns are random, not a note was played. My human job was to pick another patch from time to time, or to randomize a sequencer when they got stuck. All sounds are as they came out, no further remixing, just a one track recording.

and a bunch of other mostly free software for prefiltering harmonics, arpeggiating, gating, midi routing and so on.

Sequencers Just Want To Play

Two sequencers feed two arps. The arp's output is played by two synths. Two Synodeia plugins (by Klanglabs) listen to the AUDIO of each synth and detect the played notes. They send it back by midi to the input of the sequencer from the other line. 

No note is ever played by a human. All music and structure emerges from the double crossed feedback loop. Feedback means chaos, but both signal lines affect each other, which will cause resonance, a together movement, a dialog where both sides listen and talk. Arps in love.

A project of 15 synthesizer tracks playing a big orchestra. All synths are those from SuperWaveSynths.com (my favorites). Bruckner is famous for his smashing trombones and the epic full orchestra unisono hook lines. What a great composition! The contineous string backing groups remind me of todays trance arps. Midi adopted from unknown origin.
