This was one of those tracks that just kept getting plays, even to this day people are playing it on YouTube, my Soundcloud and elsewhere and I still get DMs about it. It's a really basic song but somehow it struck a chord with a lot of people. I don't really know how. I was absolutely miserable when I wrote this. I was at the peak of a crushing depression and life just wasn't going where I wanted it to. It felt like I was making wrong decision after wrong decision and just going nowhere and constantly struggling to keep my head above water while it all seemed so easy for other people. I don't feel that way anymore thankfully. I changed a lot about my life since I wrote this. Anyway, I hope people like this remaster. It was challenging to do much with it in all honesty but I've tried my best to get rid of some the annoying resonances in the original and flatten out the dynamics a bit.
