End Of The Line

I was trying out the Minisizer, and in doing so came up with a Kraftwerky sounding piece. So I went with it and this is the result.

Recorded live into 2 with some post processing to reduce an infrasound wave that I missed when using other headphones. 

Eurokorn controlling the minisizer.  Leipzig is using its own sequencer but transposed by the Machinedrum. The Machinedrum is controlling the Minitaur and Minibrute combo. The counter melody that kicks in is played manually on the ms-20 mini, with the prophet 6 flash programmed into the sequencer which is kicked off by hand. 

So what you hear is a 'live' performance, bar some post processing as mentioned before. 

The Minisizer is excellent, btw. 


Guesswerk

ocs-2 providing the almost random pipe type sound (what a great module this is!). S3n0r dual complex vco providing the rest. All going into an Erica Synths Black Output module.

MS-20 and Memotron played live over the top and all straight into two as a performance.

Llyn Tegid

Maq 16/3 providing bass on the Minisizer, and the string hit on the memotron. 

Modular providing drone and rather MS-20ish complex VCO sounds. MS-20 doing what it does best and providing meandering improv. Multicassa adding a 'knock' and blown kick.

A completely modular piece. Not a quantised note in sight. Nozoid OCS-2 playing the hook sequenced from the Eurokorn. s3n0r dual complex vco providing the drone. Bass drum and 'snare' provided by Minisizer, also sequenced from the Eurokorn. Added extra kick provided by triggered Multicassa.

Piece I recorded in 2016. Shortened because of not liking a particular effect in the second half. This is why should multitrack. :)

If it sounds familiar to anyone, it is because this contains the original hook I composed, which I then used in Regret Remorse.

In The Weed Garden

So a S3n0Я Dual Complex VCO had both oscillators fed into an Erica Synths Black output module. Oberkorn controlled the panning on channel c to get the bouncy beat. And provided gate and cv for the loop. 

Oberkorn, the only sequencer here,  was clocked by Seq out on LepLoop.

Bugbrand got bass duties with a little colour on top. LepLoop did drums and mechanic noise 2 and 3. Mech noise 1 was the Nozoid OCS-2 (Get one. Seriously). Bitcrushed by built in effect. 

Human rode the mixer and played the MS-20. Cats slept. Everything was recorded live straight into two.
