The puppeteer's workshop contained a mass of wooden limbs, woolen clothes, and linen masks that protruded oddly and gazed outwards from the shelves, greeting any visitor with a jarring sight upon their arrival. Upon closer inspection, their forms bore remarkably accurate representations of human appearance, a testament to the masterful craftsmanship of an artist who had devoted years of careful study to his craft. Indeed, the puppeteer’s creations entertained courts the continent over with their lifelike forms and were an item of distinct prestige within the collections of the nobility who owned them. Many clamored to purchase one of these most valuable marionettes, but the puppeteer was exceedingly choosy in the selection of his clientele. His storefront strangely advertised no price for his works, and only a select few were even allowed entry to his workshop to begin with. Rumors abounded of the rare goods that were required to purchase one of his creations - the hides of exotic beasts, dazzling gemstones, or spices from distant lands were all said to garner favor with the master artisan, and yet even those who showed up at his door with these items were often turned away. The truth of the matter was known only by the master himself, as was the secret to the expertise in his craft. 

Indeed, whilst he was fond of all things rare and beautiful, there was one thing that he valued more than all others, one thing that informed the basis of all of his works. A human soul, separated from it’s physical form at the TERMINAL STAGE of it’s death, would naturally seek a nearby host to possess, and with dark magics and unerring skill the master would trap these mournful souls within his marionettes, granting them an appearance of unparalleled vivacity. He, of course, would perform the separation himself, and found a ready stock of ingredients in the enemies, dissidents, and prisoners that filled the jails of his noble clients. Thus was his trade, puppeteer-executioner, and thus was the price for his work payable only in souls.

TNTKLZ make their EATBRAIN debut with TERMINAL STAGE, presenting a superb sonic show for the EATBRAIN horde alongside likeminded Neurofunk artisans Gancher & Ruin and Profuze across the EP’s four tracks.

Over the last five years, Evolution Chamber has emerged as a label committed to setting itself apart. Founded by Task Horizon, Receptor, and Magnetude, the label was established as a sanctuary and creative outlet for their music. Always dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Drum & Bass, the label has steadily expanded its catalogue, eventually becoming the exclusive home for Joe Ford and Ekwols.

From its inception, the long-term aim was to not only to cultivate a platform for their own music but also to also provide a space for emerging artists to thrive, giving rise to the 'Transmissions' series. Now, with great pride, Evolution Chamber unveils the second instalment of ‘Transmissions’’. As anticipated, it promises to deliver an experience beyond expectations.

In this subsequent release, the series maintains its approach by featuring a collective of artists from all corners of the globe. Spearheading the EP is Lance Dance, a fresh face from Russia (previously part of Saint Robbers), leads the charge blending melody with weightiness with his track 'Kill You'. Adding to the mix is the debut of Polish based Belarusian Skrimor, offering a glimpse of what’s to come in the future with 'The Rave Feeling'. Returning to the label is Tenkei, representing Switzerland and infusing African influences with the vibrant 'Maho', while the familiar Austrian-Russian trio TNTKLZ offer their second serving on the series with the characteristic dark roller 'Pay Your Blood'. Bringing the release to a close is the first of many trans-atlantic collaborations by Volatile Cycle, Dropset & Konquest as they close off the EP with the vocal dancefloor destroyer 'Damocles.

‘Transmissions’ not only serves as a platform to showcase emerging talent, but it also serves as a gateway for artists aiming to release on the label in the future. The future of music is now, and Evolution Chamber continues to set upon the mission in nurturing the next generation of musical innovators.

90s vibes atmosphere and drums set the scene for a low pitched vocal sample which then explodes into a truly alien lead line on the drop, a sound like tentacles engulfing your brain, analysing and feeding. The whole thing thunders along on a paranoiac wave, schizophrenic and angry...

Starting off with eerie old school pads and some golden era jungle breaks this primordial beast slowly evolves into a throbbing tech workout with some glorious reece snarls contorting around punchy as fuck drums. Relentless in its execution, it kills as it thrills.


State of Emergency

Alarms ring out as emergency procedures are implemented. A high energy build up filters away to a single repeating voice before a tsunami of chunky drums and heavily distorted bass tears its way through, shifting and mutating as it goes, with a low end frenzy that sounds like monsters at war. The deed was done. The great dragonrider, who had tested the adventurer so, had been vanquished and now lay amongst the ruins of the ancient temple that had once contained his might. For their part the adventurer levitated high above these ruins, surveying now the barren mountain that lay before them. They now possessed the knowledge of the dragon, its rider, and more, having gained everything from the beast’s flight and flaming tongue to the rider’s discipline and control. Their final quest had been accomplished, what more could lay before them?
Yet the adventurer was born under sign of the snake, and thus their passionate resolve bore forth a foremost idea to their mind. With little more than a thought, they began to hew the mountainside into a new and wondrous temple, replacing the ambitious construction of the dragon temple that now lay below. As they sculpted their new temple with mere thoughts, the adventurer’s breath transformed stone into gilt and precious stones of all variety, furnishing the temple’s strong stone halls with all the beauties of the world. With a wave of the adventurer’s hand rain fell from the sky, and with it came trees that sprouted from stone and serpentine vines that crawled across the temple’s facade. The temple now built, the adventurer set to one final task. Chanting a mantra known innately as one of the snake, the adventurer summoned forth first one great serpent, then more and more, further and further until sending the writhing mass into the depths of the temple, to spread and find their homes amongst its nooks and crannies and to lay in wait for the students that would come. As the greatest snake of all wrapped the entire mountain in its scaly embrace, the adventurer looked upon their completed work with satisfaction. This was no mere temple built to honor the haughty dragon. No, this would be where the adventurer would take and train their disciples. This was a place of the Snake, where their ilk could train and learn. This strength, this power, under the adventurer’s rule it would be taught. Here, upon the face of the mountain, the SNAKE MONASTERY was born.
GYDRA present their first full album, SNAKE MONASTERY, to EATBRAIN for the label’s latest release. The culmination of their journey through the trials of their own sonic temple, SNAKE MONASTERY delivers a mammoth fifteen tracks to the EATBRAIN horde, representing an initiation in sound for those not yet devoted to the duo’s monstrous and serpentine form.
