If you are tired of the monotony of everyday life and want to get a charge of various compositions that throw the listener into new worlds and spread pleasure with currents, rolling through the whole body in waves and causing goosebumps on the skin, then this EP album is just for you.
The first composition transports you to the time of World War I on a battleship that finds itself in the thick of battle amidst crimson waves and debris that will soon be swallowed up by the black abyss.
The track "Rave it" creates a sense of mystery and danger from the first notes, slowly leading to a climax that convinces the listener that they are at a rave of dark, otherworldly forces, which are, however, very well understood in the music.
The track "Wings," on the other hand, provides a respite from the darkness and infuses you with hope and lightness, enabling you to close your eyes and soar beyond the sky, witnessing the magnificence of our universe.

EATBRAIN channel a tale of a forgotten age through the unique minds of SEGMENT & CONCEPT VISION and their MAMMOTH EP. Featuring 4 precisely engineered cuts of audio that reach into the fraught and fractured core of existence and tear deep grooves into those who listen. VINTAGE opens the EP with luscious dub-driven pads and undulating tones that drop into a shifty and tight neurofunk banger, punctuated by pitched vocal stabs. RADIANT tears up the dance with a strobing and sweeping bassline, backed with a beautiful yearning melody and soft arpeggios. The title track of the EP MAMMOTH takes careful aim before striking a series of brutally syncopated blows, before HEIST takes down the rave in a flood of sirens leading to a stepper with an eminently catchy hook and deep, driving vibe.

This was my first ever drum'n'bass mix recorded in February 2007. Recently I was driving my car in the beginning of quarantine and this mix was a random choice of my player. I felt so inspired by selection and the story behind (my personal flashback) so I decided to share it with you. I did not change the original name of it as I think 'spirit' is the right definition of this mix. When I was playing it I didn't understand much about dnb scene and culture - even better, as this way I could only express what I feel about it through the music.
