This song represents the start of the sound I want to cultivate. I would personally describe it as post hardcore and shoegaze guitar mixed with modern industrial EDM and other darker EDM genres. If you like it, and want to hear more in this vein - drop a comment - I would love your support.

The theme for this track is ego. More specifically a malignant ego that has been allowed to run rampant in ones life without any scrutiny. For some, ego is an all-powerful beast that has torn out their eyes and buried them in the dirt. They now live in it's lair, in darkness and pain, believing that this monster will protect them from the world outside.

This track is part of a his musical compilation consists of vampire themed tracks in mainly the Witch House, Industrial, & Gothic genres that with Neo-Folk and Neo-Medieval influences. This is a 2 CD collection containing 22 tracks with nearly 100 minutes of music. This musical compilation was created to accompany the book of erotic photography “Vampyre” by Ted Carter of TC Photography in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Luciform: of, relating to, or having the characteristics of light : luminous. 

Despite the definition pointing toward themes of a pleasant nature, this is one of the darker and heavier tracks from the album. It aims to ask the question - what happens when one finally gives in to the desire to do wrong? If we drop resistance and obey the devil on our shoulder, what happens? Can we return to the light, or does the door close behind us?
