Bio (English) :
Felipe López aka Bad Omen is a Drummer, Producer & DJ of Techno from Colombia who experiments with sounds coming from his influence of Metal, Punk & Hip-Hop. Starting from empiricism, since 2012 he began to explore more the aura of the music that influences him and implementing that energy, he began to produce his own electronic music.

Bad Omen has participated in events of his city that undoubtedly left their mark on the process of generating culture in the musical capital. Warming up with his vision of music for great national and international artists such as UVB, Exos, Lukas Freudenberger, The Yellowheads, Leon KB, Gotshell, Andres Gil and Alex Young. Between his achievements, he has been on the Top 100 of Techno & Hard Techno with his tracks on the 2nd, 37th, 51st & 70th positions on Beatport.

Since 2020, Bad Omen created Control Management, a firm which represents independent producers from Latin America & Worldwide as an A&R (Artist & Repertoire). He began to work as a teacher of Music Business in ADVANCE (Envigado, Colombia). Was a resident of The Ritual Club (Ibagué, Colombia). Since 2021, he started his own label called RGR.

HUMBL Series #008 : Bad Omen

Birds is the musical project of UK born, Netherlands based DJ, producer, live act and event curator Katie Wilkinson. Her music is melting pot of Techno, 90s Acid, Electro and 80!s EBM, with her more recently material also incorporating more Breakbeat and Bass heavy sounds. She has released on labels such as Höga Nord, Ombra International, NEIN, Freeride Millennium, Hard Fist and Samo Records before founding her own label Feed The Void, a label which aims to showcase her eclectic tastes. She has also received a lot of love for her captivating live sets. Her debut album ‘Home’ will be released on 26th July with some remixes from some Electro and Techno heavyweights to follow.

As a DJ, as well as through her music she exercises a never ending desire to explore sonic possibility and switch up genres continuously. Her sets reflect these curiosities and have an extremely transcendent nature to them; you never know whether you'll find yourself dancing to churning low tempo industrial techno, high octane acid bass lines, Italo, experimental Breaks or something far and between these things. Nothing is too weird or intense for a Birds DJ set. She has a monthly radio show on Netil Radio, which is a residency that she's had for the past six years and is a regular face on local Rotterdam radio station, Operator and The Hague’s Future Intel. She has also played everywhere from Melbourne, to Mexico City, to Zagreb and many more locations around the world.
