Carefully finessing this album, the Ram imprint is about to drum & bass for a transatlantic journey. It’s a showcase of what the genre can offer… electric vibes which pulses through its veins and cherished memories of a tempo which pulls you into the morning’s early hours.

But with the Miami conference pedestalling every major genre which has made electronic music so popular, there would be a void if Ram didn’t step up. And as one of the most withstanding labels from the last two decades, they’ve delivered with immense style. You’re provided with a host of smooth basslines and hotly tantalising vocals to take you from pool-party to clubs at some of the most renowned districts.

Audio is first to deliver, crashing in at full speed and leaving no survivors with the tear out anthem which is ‘Combust’. Then taking you into a web of technicality and meticulous composition is Calyx & Teebee’s ‘Wipe Out’. Being a production line of carefully crafted composition with a meticulous production standard, Calyx & Teebee have delivered yet again. And after dominating the Beatport Top 100 with their most recent single ‘A Day That Never Comes / Snakes & Ladders’, they won’t be applying the brakes anytime soon, especially in the lead up to their greatly anticipated second album on the Ram imprint.

Back on vocal duties, Calyx demonstrates the pair’s multi-dimensional approach to beat making. With plucky percussion relaying you through bouncing subs and a drivingly solid bassline, it defines their vast repertoire of style. They’re not scared to dip into unfamiliar territories, with Calyx’s cool vocals sitting on top of lulling guitar rhythms to provide the first part of a diverse and brilliantly crafted record.

NEUS which means New Experience over Universal Sounds is born in Corsica in 2009.
Gaël under his real name, has been experiencing music-making and improving his comprehension over modular and electronic components years after learning guitar and drums. 

He understood the full spectrum and the variety of music over his multiple influences rooted from his passion for acoustic and electronic elements.

The physical and melodic aspect is also an important part in his musical exploration.
Its powerfull and dark-cinematic evironment mixed with a touch of emotive sensibilty is what makes the aestethic of his artistic path and universe.

For now, NEUS is working independently on multiple sound design projects variating from scoring to video games and tv ads.
His music has always exposed different ideas from one to another genres through versatility, always evolving and improving is what makes the root and the strength of the project.
