Dust of Time Stereo Oscillator

Apart from the drums (BD = Sy 0.5,  hh = mutant hihats, tom= ubraids II, clap = mutant clap) This is all a single Dust of time bass patch through 4ms DLD. the osc1 is FM and osc 2 is basic sin, there is plenty of internal modulation including the osc1-2 mix controlled by velocity. everything was recorded in 1 go, sequenced by cirklon. and DoT knobs were wiggled. Drums are mono, so any "stereoness" you hear is from the routing in the DoT patch

Another demonstration of the resonator and lots of remoldulation!. It may be a crime against humanity!

This time It is using all 3 resonators, the CPU load was at 80% and only 15 FPS!

osc 1 was OA FIX 2.
osc 2 was Swarm Detune.
This is just a repeating 4 bar loop with no other control from the sequencer. all changes in sound were by adjusting the module and CV inputs.

Both oscs had their resonators length (pitch) modulated by a Fuser,
LFO with BPM turned on, resetting on each note was modulated by a CV input with a manual slider. 
the amount of glide was different on both oscs, and also amount of glide was modulated by CV in with slider.

Recorded in one take, drums were VPME.DE QD. delay is 4MS DLD. manual external CV provided by Michigan Synth Works XVI

Sorry for the noise, I forgot to turn off the LEDs on my keyboard and they make that noise. if it don't!

DoT Booper 098C

This is a new oscillator. It is given a limited number of points to work from and interpolates the "in between" samples. I have called it Band Limited X Y oscillator for now (BLiXY) 

This is 1 track of DoT sequenced by Cirklon, with VPME.DE QD drums and 4MS DLD. (counts as 3 module challenge, right?)

Both oscillators are set to BLiXY and i step through some of the wave data selections. the time and space parameters of each one are modulated by BPM synced LFOs and envelopes. (plus manual wiggling)

No internal or external filters were used at all, only a delay.

DoT demo of new stuff for 0.9.9 firmware.

There is a new swarm oscilator called logic 1. instead of adding the 8 saw waves together, like in "SWARM" it preforms some bitwise logic on them.

Then there is a new way to mix the 2 oscillators with the scan pot. instead of a crossfade, it performes "ANTI-AM" which is like AM, but oscillator 2 is only allowed to exist when oscillator 1 is NOT there. it is asymmetrical, the same 2 oscillator modes will not sound the same in Sin  <scan > noise,
and 
noise <scan> Sin

In this recording the osc1 was the new logic1 osc, and osc2 was good old "basic Sin" All the knobs were adjusted throughout, but there was only an envelope controlling the scan sometimes. the scan was set to new -AM mode. (Anti -AM).

There are no effects at all on the DoT, not even it's own. that tubular echo sounding thing is what the anti-AM can do with osc1 set to a swarm osc.

The first demo of the Neutron Sound Brainstorm module.

This is a demo of the p-box. A p-box is a container that controls group of frags arranged as a "voice". whatever is routed between frags on the voice will be copied to the other voices.

All that is playing here Is drums from VPME.DE QD and Brainstorm poly sample player with 8 voices and 4 frags, sample player, envelope, filter, and output VCA. later on I turned on a delay (4MS DLD). the sample is a common fairlight sample called "FlangeGuitC3" I adjust filter cutoff, A,D,S,R and turn sequencer tracks on and off manually.

This patch uses about 7000/14000 available CPU cycles per sample.

This recording is a bit bad, sorry. its mostly because sampler interpolation was off.

That time sometime around 1999 when my friend and co "worker" Olitech found my samples folder and made a tune.

One track of The Michigan synth works MSW-810 monosynth. There is some added delay (Sonic Core scope ducking delay) and some drums (VPME.DE QD and MiSW SY0.5) its a repetitive track but the synth settings are adjusted throughout. Sequenced by Sequentix Cirklon.

This is a little multitrack with all dust of time sounds, no effects except a delay on the "sequencer" track.

If you listen with headphones, or at least in front of stereo speakers, you will hear the "Haas stereo transform" which is one of the ways the 2 channels of the Dust of time oscillator can be separated. It is a repeating sequence (on Michigan synth works chronovore 303 sequencer) the second gate of DoT is controlled by accent. The DoT is playing through a delay effect (E520) so you can hear the stereo Haas effect comes through even a long repeating delay. 

The Osc patch on the Dot, is Swarm and a waveEdit file, each side has a dynamic/distortion effect with the amount modulated by the "accent" gated envelope.
