Hailing from Meanjin and Bundjalung Country (Brisbane AU), Cuttle are sound system creatures driven by deep basslines, rolling rhythms, and raw energy. The duo blend leftfield bass sounds with soulful melodies and heavy, grounded production - a balance that hits just as hard in a dark club as it does under the open sky.

Cuttle have become a familiar name across the Australian bass community, performing at events hosted by Nice 2 Care, Soleil Sound System, and Hex Sound System, as well as festivals like Boomtown, Esoteric, and Sub Terra. They’ve supported renowned artists including Halogenix, Djrum, Mystic State, Ternion Sound, and Sepia, further cementing their place within the deeper end of the scene.

With a recent feature on SWU FM with Nina, Cuttle continue to share their sound further afield while staying true to their roots in community and underground culture. Their sound is distinct, unhurried, and deeply tuned to the frequencies that move people.

Following the momentum from their debut collaboration - Tech One EP, Unkey and Mono Code return to Source Control with the next chapter in their collaborative series,  Tech Two EP. Continuing the conceptual thread that began with the label’s inaugural release, the duo delve deeper into their shared fascination with texture, structure, and  evolution in sound.



Rather than a conventional set of remixes, Tech Two reimagines and reconstructs the material from Tech One, transforming familiar ideas into something new and unexpected. Each track is a re-engineering of form, stripped back, rebuilt, and tuned for the darker corners of the club. The result is a record that feels both connected to its origin and entirely forward-looking, setting the stage for Tech Three next year, where the evolution of their sound will continue.
