Noteworthy stuff ive made so far for my next album. No album name yet as I want to get the tracks done first before figuring out the overall vibe of the thing. Ya know? 
Noteworthy things: I have an Arturia Minifreak and am in love with it, working on making patches to use in songs, Temporal Rift and Bro Diddle are two such patches I made and have used. Bag O Beans is also one. I used multiple patches on Temporal Rift, the patch for the main arp is Temporal Rift, the patch for the PWM is a pad I made called Stasis Lock however I adjusted certain settings to get the sharper sound up front. 
The other thing is mainly trying new mixing techniques to see what different kind of vibes I can go for while still giving space to all parts in a mix. Also lots of parallel effects/compression and such, trying more stuff with splitting the bass and highs so I can add more space to instruments that wouldn't normally get that treatment.
No Feeling is yet another rework of my track How Can I Feel, but in a new flavor since the 2021 rework. I also found out the No Scrubs Acapella by TLC pitched up 1 semitone fit pretty darn well, though the quality of my sample wasn't great. It's the same instrumental from No Feeling but with the TLC Vocals, mix was before the final changes for No Feeling, but its still quite fun. The Vocal locked in perfectly which is nuts especially since I just dropped it on the track for fun.

Waiting Mode: The weird thing ADHD brains do sometimes where it locks you into a state of doing nothing because you have something scheduled for later in the day, where you could totally spend the time doing something else until then, but the brain just says "no." and you have to live with it. Did I get that vibe in the track? Maybe. Still a bop tho.

The past few months.

Some stuff I've made over some time I've never gotten around to posting publicly. Some are Work in Progress, some are just fun little experiments I cant release, Some are definitely going on the next album, or maybe an EP, have an ambient EP in the works at the moment, so We will see what happens.
Fundle Bundle (its the ableton project name). Was messing around with Autotune Pro with a cappella tracks, and some beat repeat shenanigans with the I'ts a Fine Day a cappella By Miss Jane (90s dance version specifically)

Dead On Arrival: This one was a way for me to learn more about the Minifreak by using it for every sound in the track. I like these kind of projects because they make me think outside the box. Enjoy the Scratch vocals that are probably not gonna change. Also used Antares Harmony for the choir behind the vocal, still need to learn how to better set up the chords and scales so they all  sit nice harmonically in future tracks.

Ditty sesh was performed unquantized, and the drum loop gets old FAST. I like the part around 6:00 in, was messing around with the Delay on the Minifreak using it as a looper, gets pretty crunchy. A live Jam sesh more or less.

Oh no the robot Shid is a DnB thing, not really a song perse, just a musical experiment, also King Zora Mweep, just got those samples. Started by using a bit of Scifi sound design I'd made before out farts. Great bed for DnB, could probably work well in Techno as well.

Waiting Room for the Afterlife, Just got Andrew Huang's Transit, tons of fun, need to incorporate it more. Needless to say was trying to make a song that would fit in like a save room or something, like a soft reset point for the brain.

The rest are all release candidates in the near future and have some more work needed.

Two Versions of a Jam I did a few days ago.
Performed in real time using a JP-08, Arturia MicroBrute, Drumbrute impact and one instance of Serum for the Pad.

Everything was sequenced and kept in sync by the Novation SL MK3.

First Version (Hello World) is the full speed version of the Jam, as it was performed.

Second version (Lost World) is slowed down by about 20% and beaten up to make it some lo-fi goodness (AudioThings Reels is amazing BTW)

Made this really late last night, Got into a really creative mood and wanted to just make something. This is what came out of a period from 9pm-2:30am.

Its been a while and I've been wanting to do a rework of this song for ages. So I did it! I had fun making this and I hope you enjoy it!

I made this in 6 hours, no reason. Just goes to show what happens when you go with inspiration.

How Can I Feel (VIP)

Random song I made that ended up being quite the chill dance bop.


EDIT: You can tell when I posted songs when I was depressed, as I put no effort into the description. But anyway this was halfway through a month of unemployment and was a song made to help me manage my stress at the time. Well, I still feel the song turned out quite nice all things considered. Hope it helps others like it helped me. My track Nightmares was made at the beginning of the month when reality was setting in, but that one still has an uplifting ending too, as subconsciously I wanted to reassure myself that there was hope for my situation to change.

Almost forgot to post this one, its an outrun type thing but I like how it turned out. I got Arturia Pigments and wanted to do fun things with it.

oh shiny. Lots of focus on evolving texture, realized drums are fun so i added those, a bassline, and a solo. Turned out pretty nice.

I hid a granular stretched fart (Edit: looked at the project again, its actually a Toilet flushing, same idea though) all throughout this song. Hope that doesn't ruin it for anyone, I tried to make it subtle, but in some parts its pretty obvious.

Chill Dubstep piece I had bouncing around in my head, decided to make and mix it in FL studio this time. I like how it turned out and I feel its got a pretty nice vibe to it.

Also, Pancz is fantastic. The drums got their sound from that plugin.

Dunno what to categorize this as honestly. But I like how it turned out.

Was messing around with ovox learning how it works.

Initial stages of the song was done using Touchable Pro to play slices and generally use my iPad like a Push 2. Was one of my first times messing around with the launchpad style keyboard for midi. Rest of the work was of course general song structure and adding interest in post and other general cleanup work. The DnB switch-up was a completely spur of the moment idea when i decided to freeze the initial drum loop I used and double its speed, I realized I had made a slowed down DnB rhythm, so thus DnB.
EDIT: Finished the major final steps i needed to do, and here is the final song!

I found the project file for this finally, I had the WIP version of it on my computer and saved the project name as keyboard vomit. Finally finished and ready to hit your eardrums! 

This is the first of many tracks I will be making in a proper studio instead of my bedroom in my apartment, being able to finally work at normal volume again is lovely.

ADHDNB: DnB mostly but was just a hyperfixation session
Chocolate Laxative: My mission was to make a song using a provided sample, so i did it.
Shout WIP: I think its Garage? Honestly I was just having fun with it, also I have the accapella track for Shout by Tears for Fears for some reason lol. Maybe a full remix could happen in the future.
Sprocket: Sort of Jungle but not really, once again was just having fun with it.
Toe Drag: Friend found the TikTok TTS online and made a prompt sample, was hilarious to me and I went hard on the actual track. More DnB lol.

Oh No The Robot Shid

This is more of what I would call a just keep going kind of project. Made it in a single session, Needs some mixing work and proper mastering, but otherwise is the Chill Vibe I was going for. The end bit was pure audio mangling by resampling the master and running it through a bunch of degrading effects, mainly AudioThing Reels and Wires, but  more recently have added most of the Baby Audio suite in there.

First Minifreak preset is Tycho Dreams (A preset I made that gives me Tycho vibes), Second one I'm pretty sure is Echoen (Aformentioned Looper functionality of the digital delay mode is the main point of this patch. Is overdriven and crunchy when pushed, also messing with the delay time slowly makes fun tape like slow down nonsense and weirdness easy)

My Minifreak experiment session, in song form. All sounds are made by the minifreak, aside from the weird vocal chops, my voice and ovox. (And whatever spatial tools I used, EG: Portal, Transit, Valhalla Reverbs etc.) Also was messing around with Antares Autotune Harmonizer thing, its neat, but I still need to spend more time with it.
EDIT: This version is now techincally the WIP version, as I've finalized the mix now and will be putting it on an EP with an assortment of other non ambient tracks In a little bit (As in I have no Idea when the EP will be done, I'm functioning based on the whims of my ASD/ADHD brain over here, and also not being too exhausted to make music after work)

Heyo, long time no post! This track right here happens to be the final track I needed to make for my Ambient EP "Approaching Infinity" I've been working on over the past 6 Months, when I wasn't exhausted from my day job of course. 

The focus in the production of this track was experimentation with Mid/Side EQ, and showing off a Preset I made on my Minifreak during an Insomnia event, named "A" because I apparently couldn't come up with anything at 3AM. Its the main Pad.

Also, how is Valhalla Supermassive free?

I got a field recorder. Recorded a crowbar at my dayjob, sampled my Song "Lost" for the choppy piano bits, and just had fun with distortion. The end was the product of pushing the limits of ableton's warp modes on a resampled master. Enjoy!

Never Will There Be is a multi-genre electronic music producer, who is a lover of all things sound design, video games, and music.
I use both FL Studio and Ableton interchangeably as whats the point in limiting ideas based on DAW workflow, might as well get the best of both worlds.

I make all my own album art through Blender 3D and Affinity Photo.
