Against The Virus [NBN002]

Moss Co. welcomes Dutch talent Odette to the label with her debut
‘Novella EP’. She caught the eye of the label with her fresh take on
minimal, house and techno.

The Ep opens with Novella, a nice dubby roller to get things started.
Its bouncy bassline carries the chords and groovy percussion while a
dreamy vocal circulates in the background; classic sounds for an
early dancefloor.

Next up we have Playground. Spacey synths and stabs are tied
together by punchy drums and funky bass. The occasional housey
vocal cuts through to bring your mind into focus on the heads down
groove.

We finish on the most dance floor focused track of the bunch; Eyes
Wide Shut. A positively evil bassline stomps it’s way through
relentlessly, while whizzing and whirling rising synths lift the energy
into veritable bomb territory

JorDee returns once more alongside Archer Hubert - this track blends elements of Jazz, Deep House and Minimal - exploring periods of tension and release, entrancing sonic texture and intricate rhythmic sections to great effect.
