Methxx04 takes an international direction and sees the Metalheadz debuts of  ArpXP & Reza hailing from Italy and Poland respectively.

”No Control” by Arp XP & Reza featuring Kayka is deep, dark and brooding. Rolling beats and super low sub are laced with Kayka's haunting vocal to devastating effect. A favourite of Lenzman's and featuring in many of his sets, this is a highly anticipated release and one that's guaranteed to get heads nodding and feet moving.

”Unknown Feeling” by Reza is a dubbed out minimal journey into drum and bass. Melancholy chords combine with snippets of vocal and a sparse break, which are all underpinned by the weightiest of basslines. With two tracks of this quality it's no wonder this release is a double A side.

Collectively the two tracks make for a killer release - yet another gem in the much sought after METHXX catalogue

Autumn is inevitable, so is another 12” from Absys Records. This time it’s an album sampler for the forthcoming second compilation by the name of “Mystical Deep vol 2”. In a similar vein to the previous wax release, we’ve got three exceptional tracks to present to you.

The 12” opens with the absolute grand masters of atmospheric d’n’b – the legendary Scottish duo under the moniker of Future Engineers. Here, their track “Ellipse” is remixed by another top atmospheric d’n’b producer – the owner and founder of Offworld Recordings, LM1. His rendition of the track gave it a new, fresh dimension, but still retaining the mighty bass line and spacious pads that make you virtually surrender and submerge in the sound. A deep, though powerful track that will surely move many a dance floors all over the world.

Next in Line is “Fading Memory’s” by Synth Sense – a duo from Kent in Great Britain, focusing in their production on deep and futuristic sounds and this track is no exception. Their work is an astounding deep and pulsating killer where the cosmic sounds take us into a completely different dimension. The whole is complemented by vocal part by MC Fava who makes the track even deeper and more tranquil.

Our feast ends with a true blow of freshness – “New Rise” by Nuage, that is. This young artist from Russia has been present and active in Absys camp for quite some time, though he’s been making music only for just under two years, but still, he’s considered by many as one of the most exciting producer in the business. His newest work is full of subtle details and keeps an uplifting, melodious note to it, filled with sublime vocals echoing the words “Just as Long as I Believe”.

But wait – there’s more! To make this autumn the most beautiful season, we’ve also got a brilliant artwork by our valued Feebee to complement this 12” and U will find it inside vinyl sleeve.

What can I say, I suffer from musical Schizophrenia. I tend to ignore categories and genres and only care for vibe and tempo. So again, here we have another mix that combines 3 different genres and sub-genres and comes up with a fusion that may or may not work. I hope you either hate it or love it. Just don’t be indifferent or neutral because it means I have failed in stirring something/ anything inside of you. Mediocrity and creativity are not meant to live side by side. 

The roster of producers/ DJ’s featured in this collection range from world renowned and big names to those who are creating some incredible work from a notebook computer and minimal studio set up at the corner of their tiny bedrooms. As always, no attention is paid to how old or how new a tune is. The only thing that matters is the overall flow. Bonus Pack file has track listing and cover and sleeve artwork.

Without doubt one of the most revered Metalheadz singles of all time and a pre-cursor to an album that has since been labelled as a blueprint, this is Commix as a duo at their peak. Originally released in 2007 and now repressed for the first time 13 years later, it’s often hard to come across music this synonymous with a whole scene with ‘Be True’ in particular still reverberating across the world on dancefloors, in mixes and throughout homes.

With the first repress selling out almost immediately we've now got a second batch in the making which will ship in January. This too has already sold out in several stores but we've included some links to the last remaining copies below.
