An big archetype of this song was Alphaville's classic "Forever Young" from 1984. I even wanted to write such a hymn to youth or my personal youth. So I landed in the land of dreams where all of our dreams (logically) are going to and coming from and everyone of us can do and be what he or she wants. Sadly a dream. But impossible?

In 2004 this were one of my first lyrics I ever wrote. Seven years later my good friend made a first demo with the original lyrics and very calm music. The result was good, but he wanted to get it better. So I had to rewrite some phrases so that the vocals get easier into it.

Blemish Extremities - My Trip To The Land Of Dreams

Between 2004 and 2008 I was writing nearly 250 lyrics based on mainstream pop and rock music. I called it "Blemish Extremities" - my Songwriter Project. Inluenced by the German electropop band Alphaville I had a wonderful time by writing down what happened in my life and what was born in mind in these four years. In 2008 I stopped working on my project and until 2011 there has never been any demo or musical note based on my lyrics. Then a good friend helped me to realize my dream of four semi-professional demos: He was singing and producing the demos based on my lyrics and sound ideas. Actually I'm far away from this musical project, so that it'll be hard to get back in the future. But: Never say never. Hope you enjoy what you hear and I'm looking forward to your comments and critics.
