ABOOUT GRAMMIK:

Human, dreamer and melody lover.

Aris involvement with electronic music started almost two decades ago. At the age of 15 bought his first vinyls and instantly the question “How is this music made?” made him buy his first computer and start experimenting with sounds in the late 90’s.

Born, raised and still based in Athens (Greece) at the age of 18 started spinning vinyls on local bars and small clubs around Athens. His first release came out under his real name (Aris Grammenos) on No Border Recs at 2008 and after that a numerous tracks and remixes followed up on labels such as No Border Recs, Sound Of Everything, Proton Limited to name a few.

The year is 2012 and Aris felt the need to re-create his sound and after 4 years of silence on 2016 his first EP was released, under his current artist name “Grammik”, on Eyes Of The Owl Recs with the title “New Tomorrow” , followed up by a remix on the same label.

Grammik’s breakthrough comes on the year 2020 by joining the family of the respected Steyoyoke records by releasing to original tracks
“White Heart” and “Kalopsia” on “Quadrivium” vol. 6. Grammik's sound keeps the basic dreamy pads and mind-bending arps and melodies but in a more techno oriented sound. Inspired by “everything that can make my mind dream and my heart sing" as he says keeps producing deep and melodic techno tracks.

He is well known for his built up dj sets that can begin from electronica and finish up to techno. Music knows no boundaries and at the end as he always mentions:

“Music is what are feelings would say if they had a voice, so it's better if they have to say a
beautiful story”.

Musical expression has been since Bob Tosh beginnings the most natural way to reach an act of catharsis. Embedded since young age by electronic culture, this duo managed to experience the variations and dynamics of the scene, dedicating to experience the sounds of Techno, a terrain full of changes and opportunities. Their path as producers and DJs aroused by the curiosity of creating environments that connects physically and mentally using music as a mean.

Both studied music production in one of the most prestigious schools in Buenos Aires and after many years of hard work they came across presentations in the most prestigious clubs in the country where their passion for music translates into the constant search of always creating a unique sound. Their productions stand for a contemporary sound along with a dark atmosphere and nostalgic moving melodies, maintaining the power of their own distinctive style.

Among the very few artists to ever surface from the Buenos Aires underground music scene, Lucas Uberto aka Ubbah has slowly but steadily made a name for himself in the electronic music genre.

Hailing from a small town 30 km up north of his country's capital city, Ubbah's success is deeply rooted in his perseverance and love for the craft. He was born in June, 1994, and by the age of ten he had already developed a passion for several different musical styles as well as completely mastered playing the piano. It wasn't until 2008, however, that he discovered his true calling: electronic music. Deep, techno, dark and hypnotic sounds have left an imprint on him that has served as inspiration for his very own productions.

His first single, 'San Francisco Murderer', released in 2014, first brought him widestream appeal. And it was his 2016 single 'Apogee', released by Parquet Recordings, that allowed him to break into Beatport's Top 100 and gained him the support of popular DJ's all over the globe. He has played the biggest clubs in Buenos Aires, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, Colombia, Bolivia, and is on the verge of starting Mid East and North-American tours.

He received support from artists such as Solomun, Tale Of Us, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Oliver Koletski, Fideles, Kevin de Vries, Undercatt and Magdalena between others.
