RULES :

Remix the track in your favourite genre or style according to your own taste/interpretation. Submit your remix as a 320kbps MP3 file to 'Specimen A Rock Star Remix Competition' group on soundcloud.com.

Winning entry must be contactable through the Soundcloud messaging service. 

Start date: 8th May 2014. Entries must be submitted by midnight 19th June 2014 GMT. 

Entries will be judged by Specimen A. The winner will be announced online on 26th June 2014. Tracks using samples from sources requiring clearance (apart from these remix parts) will be disqualified. 

All trademarks and logos are protected. All rights of the producer and the owner of the recorded work are reserved. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this record, remix or remix parts is prohibited. 

The Competition Winner will have their official remix released on the Rockstar Remixes EP on Funkatech Records and receive prizes from our partners DMG Audio and Novation.

The Talent of Tomorrow Prize winner will receive A "Big Kick” VST and 5 x Artist Series sample DVD's by Loopmasters and have their remix featured on both Specimen A and Funkatech Soundcloud pages.

Your submission of a remix in this contest automatically constitutes as your agreement to our terms and conditions. 

Entering this remix competition implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are legally binding. Specimen A reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if we have reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions. 

The winning track must be provided in either WAV or AIFF format prior to mastering.
