SEVER 2046: LIVE — Deti kholodov (Children of the Cold)

Алексей Борисов, студент исторического факультета МГУ, создает свою первую группу Проспект в 1981 году; вдохновленные летними посиделками на столичных кухнях, они с друзьями играют легкую гитарную музыку с оглядкой на западную «новую волну». Группа распадается в 1984 году, чтобы через год вернуться на сцену в обновленном виде, уже как Ночной Проспект. К Борисову присоединяется энтузиаст электронной музыки и коллекционер редких синтезаторов Иван Соколовский, а новое звучание группы совершает плавный переход в «сумеречную зону» индастриала и тягучего синти-попа. Под новой вывеской коллектив записывает и издает несколько концептуальных, новаторских альбомов, работая с важными деятелями советского авангарда — например, Жанной Агузаровой, — после чего Борисов и Соколовский решают сфокусироваться на сольных проектах.  
	В 1986 году музыканты воссоединяются на студии Борисова на Проспекте Вернадского, чтобы записать единственный инструментальный альбом в дискографии группы, «Курорты Кавказа». Главные инструменты на записи — перкуссионная драм-машина, звуки которой придают альбому несколько афро-карибский, «тропический» характер, а также редкие синтезаторы: от советского «Фаэми» до итальянского «Бонтемпи». Альбом получит противоречивые отзывы и останется непонятым современниками, во многом из-за того, что звучит слишком странно и нетипично, даже для самих участников дуэта.  Запись так и не будет издана официально, эти композиции ни разу не сыграют вживую. Вскоре после своего появления на свет «Курорты Кавказа» уберут подальше в архив и забудут, а музыканты переключатся на создание более монументальных произведений — например, своих культовых «Кислот». 
	Спустя 33 года после записи «Курорты Кавказа» издаются впервые.

In 1981, Alexei Borisov, a history student at the Moscow State University, formed his first band Prospekt (Avenue), drawing inspiration from kitchen table talks and new wave music coming from the West. They broke up in 1984 and 
a year later Borisov joined forces with Ivan Sokolovsky, 
an electronic music enthusiast and a connoisseur of rare synthesizers, to introduce the new and «updated» version of the band. By becoming Notchnoi Prospekt (Night Avenue), Borisov and Sokolovsky started moving towards industrial music and viscous, psychedelic synth pop. 
	In 1986, after a few conceptual, revolutionary albums 
as Notchnoi Prospekt, various solo projects and collaborations, the duo reunited in the studio to record their only 
instrumental album «Kurorty Kavkaza» (Resorts of the Caucasus). Built around the hypnotic meshing of afro-caribbean drum machine percussion and vintage Soviet and Italian synthesizers' vivid sonic palette, the resulting record was something that was absolutely different from Borisov and Sokolovsky's dark signature sound and wasn't well 
received both by the public and underground scene. Until now, these tracks were never released and Notchnoi Prospekt never performed them live. Shortly after the recording session the duo focused on a return to their industrial roots that resulted in a number of monumental albums including «Kisloty» that became an instant underground classic. 
	«Kurorty Kavkaza» lay dormant and forgotten for decades, and thirty three years after its recording, it gets the deserved official release.

система | system presents "bluelancholia" ep by Moscow-based trio elektricheskaya sobaka.

Elektricheskaya sobaka is an improvisational trio project by Rustem Imamiev aka XΛN, Kirk Stephane aka Rites of passage and Nicolai Schizoph.
Initiated in 2017, for 3 years the trio became one of the most visible experimental electronic impro band on the Moscow scene, also at that time they founded the online radio Morpheus, which they're curating.
And, yes, their musical spectrum is really wide, from punk, post-punk and post-indie to electro, techno and even post-jazz and doom affiliated, etc.

"bluelancholia" ep consists of 5 tracks, every track of this ep is the cut from the improvisation recording session by Elektricheskaya sobaka.
In the tracks of "bluelancholia" ep I hear something like rolling reminiscent figures, crafted and breathing fantasy.
Improvisation here exists between rhythmical script and hazardous joy, diving into excursions in both groovy and contemplative zones.

Elektricheskaya sobaka -  это проект от: Rustem Imamiev aka XΛN, Kirk Stephane aka Rites of passage и Nicolai Schizoph.
Собравшись окончательно в музыкальный проект в 2017 году, и в итоге за три года elektricheskaya sobaka стала одним из самых заметных экспериментальных электронных импровизационных проектов Московской сцены. Также за эти же 3 года артисты инициировали и курируют онлайн радио "Морфей".
И, да, их музыкальный спектр очень широк - от панка, пост-панка и пост-инди до электро, техно, и даже пост-джазза, и пост-дума.
"bluelancholia" ep состоит из 5-ти треков, каждый трек данного релиза является следствием импровизационных сессий от "электрической собаки".
В треках "блюланхолии" я слышу что-то вроде повторящихся, катящихся одна за одной, запоминающихся саунд фигур, созданных и дышащих фантазией. Импровизация здесь существует между ритмическим скриптом и случайной радостью, погружая слушателя в экскурсию, сотканную из грува и созерцательно задумчивых зон, как сон.
