New Music Kingston is thrilled to be presenting the Kingston premiere of Breakthrough Artist of the Year (2012 Opus Awards), Vincent Lauzer,  virtuoso recorder player from Montreal.  A prize winner many times over, he was most recently  awarded the Prix Guy-Soucie for best performance of a Québec work by Patrick Mathieu at the Prix d’Europe  2013.

New Music Kingston is dedicated to presenting a wide range of new music in The Isabel Performance Hall at Queen’s University. NMK strives to program the best Canadian and International performers and composers while providing opportunities for Kingston community musicians and composers to be heard in the wonderful acoustics of this sparkling new hall. Emphasis is also given to provide opportunities for outreach and collaborations between Queen’s University and other community organizations from the Kingston area. We are pleased to present a first season of seven concerts.
