Its been a few years since the last installment of  Nexma5. 
This year I'll be doing an Advent calendar showcasing everything I've been working on for the past year.

This track started as an idea exploring darker tones and more dynamic sounds, which eventually grew into the outro for my Thirst for Revenge remix.

Now this is where things start to get a bit weird. Next week I will be showcasing some more experimental songs that fuse multiple BPM's and time signatures together, some easy to follow, some not so much. 

ALL OUTTA SMOKE was a combination of my usual dubstep style and experiments I'd run since I began producing in 2011. This song keeps things simple to train your ears to it, keep an ear out for the drum patterns and you'll get a taste of what's to come.

NEXU5 - ALL OUTTA SMOKE

Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, incredible cinematography and quite a difficult moment in history. It was a stand out movie for me in 2023 but the element that struck me the most was the soundtrack and it inspired me to focus more on things like melody, pacing and spectacle.

After watching a breakdown of how Ludwig Göransson wrote the famous piece "Can you hear the music" I took the central idea of ascending and descending scales and gave my own spin on it. But of course I had to make it CRUUUUUUUD
