All 414's had cardioid capsules and were positioned as a mono overhead, directly over the centre of the kit.

Recorded in New Adelphi Studio 5 using Audient ASP8024 preamps with the Yamaha Recording Custom Drum Kit and Yamaha recording Custom 13x6.5" Brass Snare Drum. Cymbals are the Zildjian K Custom set.

All 'Overhead' tracks are the dry, unprocessed bounces of each stereo overhead pair.
The tracks with close mics have the same unprocessed overhead with additional close mics that have been processed with some EQ.
